Can you confirm if the TF Diamond Bow tie was indeed provided for SPECTRE?

In the Tom Ford SPECTRE collection buy book (and in both Milann and London TF stores) the tie they were selling was wrong

Its diamond tipped and that fabric code is the one from zenga supplier.

Understood but that is the exact same code as the TF Buy Book and the tie is not diamond - hence why I never bought it.

I presumed production decided to get a tie from elsewhere.

This tie pictured below is the TFA99 4JB and as you can see it is not diamond. I told this to London at the time as they reserved me one and they agreed in the end that it was not the film used one.

Its def something that needs looking into - Jared Nomad bought the SPECTRE TF Tux, shirt and trousers but also didnt buy the TFA99 4JB bow tie as he also noticed it was not correct

yea thats not right, I was grilling him about the diamond tipped. just requested a photo for confirmation and review.

Yeah thats what I think. TF went quiet when I enquired during my large TF SPECTRE order. They didn't follow it up or investigate, kind of acknowledged their's was not diamond shape and left it at that.

In hindsight it was a Q for Blair when he asked Jany however at the time TF claimed it was theirs so there was no need to doubt!

Of course someone here might know with insider info already! It was displayed in the expos etc

I think the same thing might have happened with the SF bowtie, when they showed me the one sold as the Skyfall one it wasn't accurate and the guy at TF didn't even realize it.
