Craig's Screen Watches

Wife and kids away for the holiday so took advantage of a Craig marathon and pondered something about his watches.
Even though Q doesn't "issue" a watch on screen until Spectre, it's easy to assume all the Seamsters would in some form be issued as well.
However with the brief appearance of the vintage Omega at the end of Spectre you could assume that as more of a personal watch of Bond's. Along those lines would you think the Aqua Terra is a personal watch or something approved from Q Branch?

Yeah, pretty much this.
Nonetheless, he made a very nice choice.
To that point now that I think of it even though the SM300 was given to him by Q, its not nessesarily "issued" as it wasn't for a specific mission as JB was working in the shadows at that point in the film. So I assume he could have changed it but with the "loud alarm" he obviously decided to keep it for its function rather than style. I always assumed if he was on an actual mission that whatever watch he would be wearing would be issued in some form or fashion based on the circumstances hence the PO and SM300 in CR.
FWIW I think the NATO was pulled off nicely with a suit but not quite so with the dinner jacket.
The SM300 is a handsome watch, I love mine, but I've yet to wear it with a suit, I do wear my standard SM300 on its bracelet with a suit but tend to reach for either an aqua terra or my deville that's on a similar strap to the vintage omega bond wears in the db5 scene at the end of Spectre.
I got the impression that the watch q gave bond was standard issue, and even though bond had been stood down he was still on active service.
The SMP and PO are both popular with Armed Forces though not issued. Wth some units having special commissions of both (with the PO having lineage to the original SM300) it is plausible he could have got them that way. I know a lot of people with that combo a blue and black faced pair covering all the bases (formal, casual and sport).
The only one that stood out to me was the AT as a more personal choice.
And of course the Spectre 300 was issued.
Cheers :007)
