Seems like that 70s butterfly collar and pocket on the chest with the offset button are the key details to look for.

You’re talking about something completely different. I’m referring to the new jacket pic in the new trailer. There is a left chest pocket with an offset button.
I referred to that Jacket too but I didnt see the chest-pocket (still have problems to notice it) thank you, sorry a bit confusing )

Looks to me like we do not see the buttons on the left side of the jacket (except the off-centered button?) but the button holes (maybe with a stitching around in a different color)

I’m actually a little familiar with Carbon Tactics, the cobra buckle at least, very popular on battle belts. The design’s are very unique and then quickly copied.
The only knee length coats (or non waist length) DC suits imo are his wool overcoats. Not a fan of this or the MA duster. Both feel old, unflattering and something my dad would wear which imo isn’t something Bond would normally wear regardless of the context of the character situation.
Looks like this jacket is over the TF jeans and TB black shirt.
For those that feel this fits the context, Bond wore the great TF Harrington in a bar / backstreet setting in QOS BEFORE the Perla De Las Dunas hotel scenes and that was an iconic jacket in DC’s tenure so it’s proven that a good jacket can still rock a scene regardless of context.

In line with the relaxed, casual Bond we seem to get early on in the movie, it seems like a simple coaches jacket with that Jamaica outfit underneath.
It’s hilarious, all we see for now is half of the jacket with a very blurred depiction, yet still people label it as not Bond-appropriate, Dad-jacket and boring. No offense to you guys, but I for one will wait for a clear image before judging. {:)
Could it be one of the pieces Billy Reid sent to production as David Zaritsky said in one video?
It really resembles this one, except for the lack of the throat lace.
It’s hilarious, all we see for now is half of the jacket with a very blurred depiction, yet still people label it as not Bond-appropriate, Dad-jacket and boring. No offense to you guys, but I for one will wait for a clear image before judging. {:)
I agree...I was super excited to see that there’s another casual outfit. Yes it appears that the only new item in the outfit is the jacket, but it definitely isn’t a good enough picture to make any judgements on the jacket. Have some positivity people.

People either want to scoop up every item Craig‘s Bond wears just because he wears it, or they don’t. There’s not a right and a wrong, and positivity doesn’t really factor in. I’m only interested in the items that match my own personal style, which does not happen to be a mirror image of whatever Bond wears.

Make no mistake, it is boring. I'm not saying it's a horrible jacket, if the price is good, might even pick it up. I've had plenty of button snap overshirts that I've worn that look very much like it, they were olive green and brown and more earth tones, never blue, but if it's the kind of jacket that I suspect it to be, it's not horrible, it's just a big yawn from me.
I thought I saw somewhere someone saying the N.Peal Ribber Sweater would be launched on the 14th (to those who have signed up) as it wasn't I'm guessing no one really knows the date it will be launched?
Nothing announced but if you base it on the current Bond Collection line up I would guess it will be up around the £400 range (inclusive of UK VAT @ 20%)
Ok, I’m taking a fun punt on all of this speculation on the new jacket. I think it’s a Billy Reid reversible jacket “in navy” but possibly a version that is not available yet. I think this will be their big tie in to the film. They are deeply aware of the connection with DC and Bond. Probably perfect for the Jamaica club scenes.
