Some pictures of the coat with close look at the cuff buttons and interior pocket
Looks very nice under that light. Are the buttons on the cuffs the same large ones as on the front of the coat?
Does yours have a throat latch closure under the collar?
Mine definitely doesn´t have the throat latch and the buttons on the cuffs are about the same size than the others. I also didn´t notice Bond´s coat to have the throat latch and there is one pic close enough where it should be seen... however when looking at the very few pictures available it´s impossible I guess to tell whether the pocket position is more SA on the original run or on this...

Hey Victor B - good to see you have your Duster coat and that you like it
Re: questions about ‘buttons’ / ‘throat latch closure’...
I have just received mine at the same time as Victor B.
[Edit] Buttons on the sleeve are slightly smaller than on the breast [Thanks Victor B]
There is NO ‘throat latch closure’ on this coat.
According to Alessandro at MA, there was NO throat latch closure on the version of the coat supplied to the Bond production team. The version with the closure was an earlier version.
The difference between the currently shipped version and the Bond version is the pocket placement. It is higher on the Bond version. Halfway above / below the middle button. The current production version has the pocket sit evenly between the middle and lower button.
Just to ‘muddy the waters’, it appears there was a version of the coat shipped from MA, and via Mr Porter, early 2020 that had only 1 button on each sleeve. I understand several members of this forum received that version. That version did not have a throat closure. That version did have the different pocket position.
As always, if SA is your guide, then the current production version of the coat won’t work as the pockets are ‘wrong’.
If style is your guide and you are buying to wear (not to collect as SA) the pockets are in a better place and the coat is great!
Was the size of the cuff buttons also a past problem? I see this has been mentioned
I don’t know Sir. I hadn’t seen that mentioned before - but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t another variant with different size buttons! The only ‘button’ variant I know of is 1 v 2 on each sleeve.
I did look at the Mr Porter pics that only had 1 button on each cuff but you couldn’t really tell if they were a different size to the breast buttons. To me, they looked the same.
Considering the button discussion and although on naked eye they look about the same I decided to put them close to each other an the cuff ones are actually a bit smaller than the others.
Regarding the latch I am not sure. This would mean there have been at least 4 runs. The original one with the latch. Then the one bond wears (identical to the original one but w/o latch), then the one from Mr.Porter (the less SA due to the number of buttons in the cuff and the pocket placement), and the special release we are getting now (w/o latch, correct number of buttons in the cuff, but different pocket placement)...
They are Massimo Alba. Just had confirmation from them ... but they don’t sell them anymore .. only as part of a suit. They are the winch pant. Have asked if there is enough interest .. would they consider making them as just trousers again.

Can we double that order and get the correct raincoat made too?
Those boots are the same Danner Tanicus that he wears in the ‘tactical’ scenes that I ID’d way back, which figures as the Henley looks to be the same one worn un those scenes too. The image isn’t great, but that heel block is very distinct
It's pretty crazy to think that Bond wears the Rag & Bone henley with three different pairs of trousers (the tactical trousers, the black ones already shown with the duster, and the grey ones tentatively identified above as Massimo Alba)! I wonder if something is off here.

I thought the grey/black ones are the same pants with the same outfit, just in different lighting?
I believe I might have IDed the pants worn with the Duster Coat...and if I have, it is a very discouraging find. Expect to pay over $1,000. Waiting for a little more confirmation before I throw them out there.

I did try to capture all of that here https://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/52526/massimo-alba-coat/

That makes more sense.
Bond is crazy for corduroy in this movie.
Interesting and waiting
They were never confirmed, just a possible option.
Not sure if I might have missed this somewhere but is this the "mystery suit" we have been looking for?
