What is a “washed waxed cotton”?
I’m asking because I raised the question if I could wash the RGT jacket and was told that it was strongly forbidden.

I grabbed a XL and it’s too baggy so I then managed to get a L from a person on here but I’ve had it sent elsewhere to be on the safe side as postage here during Covid has been very poor so didn’t want to take a risk. Hopefully will have in hand soon now things getting better

They are the: Ray Ban round double bridge
Model: RB3647N 002/R5 51-22
Frame: polished black, black, black
Lens: blue/gray classic or there is a chance the lenses are the polarized green classic G-15 which is Model: RB3647N 002/58 51-22
*The ray ban logo on the right lense has been removed.
Since is the day of ID pieces, I submit my research. Looking at the BTS which were taken down, I think Bond wears the Crockett & Jones Highbury with the tuxedo in Cuba. If you look closely at the photo (though is not HD and with watermarks), it seems the shoes have the classic derby vamp.
Furthermore, in another BTS photo with Craig relaxing on the sofa, it appears the shoes have the new "City sole" like the ones he wears in London with the two pow suits.

Anyone done any further digging on this? I've seen David's vlog post today and that unwashed version looks good, but the button on the collar I haven't seen on any of the clips of Bond wearing the jacket, making me think it is the washed version he wears.
Anyone have any additional detective work they can provide?
It is really hard say which version he wears, the only possibility I know so far are the two buttons on the collar that could help differentiate the versions. In the Fukunaga trailer there is not really a button to be seen, which may not mean much because Bond is moving half in the shade here.
this could be a "reflection" from the button on the backside of the collar:
some say that it would be unrealistic that Bond would wear a waxed jacket during warm Cuba weather, but I've seen Bond wearing a suedejacket in the heat of Morocco.
Could be the release date help? the unwashed version is definitely from the past season like 2019? same goes for the waxed version? I don't know
If I had to guess I would say its the Unwashed-Version and if I had to chose I would take the Washed-version because it matches better with the outworn shoes, and the TF-Jeans which also has a washed look.
Of course everyone has to decide for themselves, but hey I think that the two jackets, whether washed or unwashed, are not that different. I can imagine that the jacket, once identified, will be available for £ 400-500 (or even more). now is the chance to get the washed-version for £ 200-300 and I think this is a good deal for a sa or nearly-sa Bond-Barbour Jacket.
You’ve talked me into it-I’ve pulled the trigger on the washed version. I too think the colour better matches the outfit he wears, fits in more with the “worn in” look of Bond not on duty. Besides which the current price discount is too good to miss out on.

I don't have it but I'm not the least bit tempted to get it either, especially after watching the review, besides the purchase price, looks like you will likely spend a pretty good bundle to get it trimmed down to an acceptable and more SA size. I just don't like the look that much and there are too many better Bond jackets that are more wearable for me. Just my $.02
I bought one, still waiting for it in hand. It’s the washed version which I wholly expect not to be in the movie but the unwashed was sold out everywhere and it was only £200. If it is confirmed there’s very little between the 2 versions anyway.
Half of me got it just because if I passed it up now I’d only go after it come November and spend a small fortune knowing how these things go.

Don't think so, but I have a Rag and Bone shirt in a similar style.. if we could see the back of the one DC is wearing, that would either confirm or rule out R&B. Either way, looks like the costume dept gave it a good wash and distress, or had a tailor shorten it.. not the best look.
With regards to the Barbour graham, I wear a commander in size Large, bought the Graham in size small and fits perfectly.was worried it may be too small but it was spot on. Wasn’t impressed by the picture where it looks oversized, but sizing down makes all the difference.

I think with "washed" they mean the vintage-look, artifical aging process by washing frequently, the wax comes afterwards
David talks about how to clean it in his Bond Experience video, re. the Barbour.
With the RGT, you're just supposed to wear it brother, get it dirty, show some wear, itll look better that way, I promise you.
