With Corgi's recent unveilings are we right in assuming that Bond does not drive either the Superleggera (Nomi) or the Valhalla (Safin?) throughout NTTD?

May have been said before, apologies if so.

    You may be right.
But these releases from Corgi just look like old models re-released in new NTTD packaging.
I don’t think there’s any clues as to what might happen in the film there.

They have been released before, minus a couple of tweaks no doubt. The DB5 was released in a SPECTRE twin pack with the DB10 swell as a "Goldeneye" release and the V8 was a "The Living Daylights" release with the extendable skis. They will probably just remove the skis and change the number plate and palm them off a new releases.

I was really looking forward to the Superleggera model too 8-)

    Winch (‘steps’) trousers sizing:

Could someone with a pair of these MA trousers in size IT46 measure across the front of the waistband (or waist circumference) please?

Interested to see if the 46 would be a better fit for me.

    Thanks

    I don't have your size, but bear in mind that the cotton is super soft and that it will stretch over time. -{

so After this health and fitness I'm probably have to get them tailored

    I suspect a 46 would fit me better. I will have to get my 48 tailored if I can't find a 46.....

Ok so the RGT jacket woes continue - it’s fast becoming more of a ReGreT jacket: I paid the customs charges Wednesday with delivery specified for yesterday, waited in but...nothing.

I called to query today, it’s apparently lost somewhere at my local post depot and “should have gone on the van” for delivery but they can’t locate it, let alone tell me when it may be delivered...

I was asked if it’s a large package (?) I imagine not, but anyone who got one from Stag care to chime in with a response to this? Thanks

There's an article in The New York Times today about the Massimo Alba's work in No Time to Die:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/10/style/james-bond-daniel-craig-suits.html

I gave the reporter a quote that finishes the article.

Crap - sorry to hear that

Mine came in a smallish box from Stag. Think of a pair of jeans or shirt folded and plonked in a box kind of things

Man i'm sorry to hear that it's taking so long for the jacket to get to you and i hope it's ultimately worth it. My packaging was a brown shipping bag with the jackets each sealed in a thicker plastic bag.

So i see that according to the jamesbondlifestyle.com site the Barton Perreira sunglasses will not be coming out at the end January and instead they will be shipping this April. I wonder if all my complaining about the 007 logo made them decided to delay the release :)) :D :v

Nice publicity for you, Matt! And a good quote.

I've been saying for a long time that Massimo Alba's corduroy will take off and that people who balked at the Sloop suit and the Winch pants will reach for their wallets. Bond is such an unbelievable trendsetter, even when the trends he sets are lamentable. That's not the case here. The cords MA uses aren't anyone's idea of "corduroy." It's as if he created a new summer suiting material.

The sizes ordered are interesting. You have to think the 54 was for the stuntman wearing the harness for the bridge jump (and whatever other safety stuff was needed underneath).

Isn't DC built like a tank though? Would be easier to take a larger size in a little for running/action etc regardless of the wearer.

Could be! But I bought the 54 and I'm a 43-44" chest, and it's right on the border of being too big for me. Part of that is the style. It's a loose fit.

The Length from the Jacket looks pretty long on DC compared to the Suit I received from MA. I took my normal Size and its tailored definitly shorter than the one on Craig. I can imagine that they ordered oversizes and tailored them to a more fittet look. I thought the same on the RGT Jacket, its hard to see because hes in the shadow when he uncovers the car in the trailer but the whole jacket/sleeve length seems to fit long on him, but thats pure speculation.

    regarding the Joe release:
On PB is still written end January: https://bartonperreira.com/products/joe-sun

I'm sorry to ask that in this thread but does anybody know if its possible to pay by PayPal at Royale Filmwear? Thank you

We will have to see regarding the Joe as well as the other Barton Perreira sunglasses. You can pay via PayPal when ordering from Royale Filmwear.

Update: I remember last year that Dan is no longer taking PayPal payments as there was an issue with eBay and PayPal. My apologies for anyone i may have confused :#

They must have tailored the hell out of some of them! I have to say the Sloop suit was a strange fit on me and I haven't kept it as a result. I'll need to get the Winch trousers tailored too but am hopeful they'll look great once done.

Good news concerning the TOM FORD NTTD clothes:

I was talking to the TF boutiques in London and Munich. Both confirmed that the clothes worn in NTTD will all be available in spring. They also mentioned that not every shop will get all items. So the grey jeans will come back in stock... TF Munich confirmed the jeans to be the straight fit model. Makes total sense to me looking at the current known NTTD outfits and sizes. Everything is a looser fit: trousers, shirts, jackets. Gone are the skin tight DC clothes...

Mine came today Smithers after ordering online on the 6 December ?:) and I went through the same routine, ParcelForce and USPS were dreadful, STAG were kinda OK, but they said they could track the parcel and Parcelforce said they couldn't track it and STAG were the only ones and round and round. Customs charges £102. I regularly order online from the US and this was by far the worst fiasco. Christmas didnt help but still. Should have ordered from the UK 100%. Ended up paying £20 more for a 7 week longer wait.

I picked up a beauty of an RGT Supply jacket in denim hoping it would satisfy the itch....it didn't :))

For those that already have the wax canvas version, are you able to cuff the sleeves or are they too rigid for that?
    Yes. Considerably!

feel for you buddy , had the same fiasco too yesterday and today , got well annoyed and demanded delivery.
Got it finally at 6.30pm tonight.
I must admit well worth the wait but not the angro and extortionate custom fees.
Love the jacket and looks cool all outfitted up according to the trailer as best I can.
Gonna get a lot of wear in the summer :007)
    Hope you get it sorted

Thanks guys, I’ll let them know - hopefully they can find it before the next Bond film is announced...
