Clearly, I am less disappointed then most of you. Yeah, we could have gotten a title but this way we have some more speculation to look forward to. I love the fact that Felix Leiter is returning in this movie. I think the presenter did a great job. Didn’t like the Q&A bit though. Really? Of all the questions, they picked these ones?
What surprises me the most is the youth of the new additions to the cast. The oldest one is what, 40? That, together with a young Q, Moneypenny, M (well youngish), makes Bond himself feel/look really old. Curious to see if that will play into the plot itself.
Could there be a new young holder of the 007 licence in there? Lynch is British...

Have we had that much of a deflating start to a Bond before?
THE worst Q&A I’ve ever seen. Questions like, “who’s the most excited to be in the film” and “what’s your favourite Bond gadget?” Seriously?? Aweful, literally no real content whatsoever.
IMO the only bits are any value is Malek, Jeffrey Wright, seeing 1 of the locations, most likely Bond’s holiday home and knowing the film starts out with Bond not in active duty.
Outside that, the “announcement” is a big fail. To build it up the way they did and to have lackluster content and anything like the title is lazy and reinforces my belief that the producers are neglecting the fans.
The only way to pull this back from today’s flop would be to drip feed regular new info about the film which won’t reveal too much ie; composer, title, title song, character names, official still images and of course the usual spy shots.
I’m sure from my tone you can imagine my frustration
Yes, she's certainly attractive. But Bond has much higher standards than most of us. Ana de Armas isn't worryingly Young compared to Craig, but I think she looks younger than she is.
Who was the new male actor Fukunaga mentioned, I think his name sounded Arabic(not Malik)?

Could very well be. It has been 5 years since he left MI6 so...... But we will find out next year ) Looking forward to Bond25! :007)

I think she is gorgeous, also for Bond’s (apparently higher) standards. But to each his own.
But is she.... the new 007?
Let's not start that joyous discussion again :007)
It's coming... ) She's 31 so probably around the right age. I wish they'd at least asked if anyone had done any fight training, that sort of thing. De Armas had clearly been cast yesterday or so!
My introduction to Ana de Armas was an otherwise laughable film called KNOCK KNOCK. Her sex appeal in that movie is off the charts.
She is in that?! Wow, I might need to watch that whole movie. Last time I stopped watching after 15 minutes.
Oh wow, I remember watching that movie a while back—she was the only part of it that left an impression. I had no idea of her name, or that she was the same actress as the one we saw saw today in Jamaica, until now though.
David Dencik (1974) is Swedish/Danish. He's been in many Swedish productions, but I have to admit I can't remember him from any of them. He's also been in some international productions such as McMafia and "Top of the Lake". He was in "The girl with the dragon tatoo" with Daniel Craig. He's also an instructor in the Brazilian martial art Capoeira. Variety named him in 2013 as one of Europe's best character actors.
Craig was, quite frankly, kinda non-descript in the Q and A. I know he's a tad shy but he's been the longest serving Bond so he knows the Bond ropes, he knows what is required at press junkets. He seemed to have all the enthusiasm of a guy that said "I'd only return for the money" which bizarrely enough he actually said!
I think the next Bond actor needs a bit more natural charm in interviews or extra confidence. I think Craig's a decent Bond but it would be nice to have some new chap with a little more oomph in interviews. At least pretend to enjoy yourself!
Well, it was a fluff piece, which is no surprise. We got some good info (cast, locations, a bit of plot). And I'm really excited Felix is back! That made my day. And Craig looks like he's back in fighting shape. Not sure how smart it was to run this on the day the new Marvel movie is opening. I think the hype surrounding that event may eclipse* the new Bond news in the media.
I'm sure more info will trickle out during the day and there's the interviews tonight as well. Those might go into more depth. Overall, it built up my excitement!

Ah, welcome back to Bond Season - with the requisite sounds of disappointment )
I am delighted by Malek’s casting - and the return of Jeffrey Wright’s Felix!

I'm glad this is Craig's final Bond. He seemed to have zero joy or excitement in his body language. I accept he is shy but he's been in the role for close to 15 years. Try and summon up some enthusiasm. I'm sure 20 or more million dollars would make most people get more enthused!
Do you think there weren't many locations? Jamaica, Italy, Pinewood and a bit from Norway? Of course few locations can be seen as a plus, if the movie takes the time to imerse itself in the location. I think the Italian location will stand in for North Africa. Two of the male actors have a family background from the area I think, and David Dencik's hair and eyes gives him a Middle Eastern look.

Oh I don't really care how good they are offscreen to be honest; I'll be watching it regardless!
“OK Babs, spin the wheel and let’s choose a title!”
Great news about Jeffrey Wright, promising looking new cast, DC and Naomi look in good shape ... but otherwise kinda disappointing. The shadows of the camera operator on the interviewer at the start epitomised the general approach IMHO.
Minor niggles though, still great to see that Bond is back -{

But is she.... the new 007?
2 good things - Ana De Armas. She is stunning and a perfect choice for a Bond girl so that's great. And Rami Malek as well will be a great villain.
Additional point - Lashana Lynch will undoubtedly be the new 007... 8-)

Thanks. I can't find much about him, but it looks like he's French with likely North African roots. Ally or henchman?

Looks like Bond is a getting a JOI emitter in Bond 25.
True, to each his own. I hope I'll change my mind.

Quite surprised he was allowed to wear anything but Omega during a Bond related event.
