Wow, there is an actual mission this time and an actual threat instead of Bond's past comes to haunt him or M's past comes to haunt her and the mission is to search for a threat to thwart. Reminds me of Iron Man, the Great Mouse Detective,Metal Gear Solid 4 and Star Wars Rogue One where a scientist is kidnapped to build a super weapon. It's looking to be Eco terrorism.
I wonder what field the scientist is working in? I hope it's not computers, hacking or surveilance. That was a major theme in SF and SPECTRE, so it's time for something new.
I think that he is to be the villain, even though its kind of obvious it hasn't been confirmed
It all adds up to be plausible so interesting if they have accidentally revealed something they should not have (and told to take down) or they just wrongly assumed was the case due to location and summary
If it is correct then I guess we could go down a long familiar path in the future

They claimed that he was playing Dr. No. Which is obviously wrong. They probably just got confused because there was so much talk about the filming of Dr. No this morning.

Guess it is *slightly* possible though with the story summary and location.
The best one I heard was on german radio covering the event: „It looks like the press conference is being held on the same beach where Halle Berry emerged in Casino Royale.“
Since it looks like we won't get the title for some time, is there any interest in a title poll? And if there is, what titles should be listed?
The Fleming ones, Blofeld, Once upon a spy ….
I'm starting to think the best hope for a good title is Phoebe Waller-Bridge coming up with a striking turn of phrase while working on the script. I understand she has a way with words.

Good idea with the title poll. It may even help EON if they haven't chosen one yet

I like the idea of a title poll, I'm interested to see the outcome - but there would have to be a category for those of us who think we may get an original title (not Fleming).
Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.
The Garden of Death
The Death Collector
Shatterhand
Risico
The Property of a Lady
The Hildebrand Rarity
A Whisper of Death
007 in New York
Blofeld
007
Once Upon a Spy
Eclipse
Perhaps two polls with the same titles listed. On e multiple choise where we ask what titles members like and one poll where we ask what title we thing EON will use. Or perhaps that's overdoing it?

Just saw that. Interesting...
It DOES match the plot description and location...
What was the big claim? They‘ve updated/ changed their article now.

Hmm.. Dr No. I don't really buy that- he's not really very iconic aside from the name; I don't think there would be much point in doing him again.
I'm hoping for "James Bond '007 in New York'" for the Ian Fleming short.
The Garden Of Death
Would vote for that 1000 times if I could
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
The Death Collector
Shatterhand
Risico
The Property of a Lady
The Hildebrand Rarity
A Whisper of Death
007 in New York
Blofeld
007
Once Upon a Spy
Eclipse
