If there isn't a vaccine by the time this is released will all of you guys go see this in the theater? If for some reason they decide to also make it available onDemand would you prefer that option? Just curious as to what everyone thinks... -{
No, I will not be seeing it in the theater while the pandemic is still ongoing. Hopefully it’ll show up on demand sooner rather than later. I’ve got a small child and elderly parents, so it’s a no-brainer for me.
That said, I don’t want them to wait to release it. The sooner it’s out there, the sooner I can see it (and then we can start focusing on Bond 26!).
One of the things I liked about the new trailer is the involvement of the Royal Navy. I don't know how Bond interacts with the navy in NTTD (if at all), but I'm glad Craig gets one movie where there's a navy element.

I think it's probably going to be like the beginning of TND.

I think it‘ll be more like the ending of TND: Bond on Safin’s island fighting him, saving Madeleine and escaping whilst the royal navy is bombing the sh*t out of the place... :007)

Yes. And maybe there's a tiny chance we will see him in the uniform too..

I have a gut feeling we won't get to see Bond in the Naval uniform. As August pointed out above, the Royal Navy is probably bombing the island as Bond is fighting Safin or has killed Safin and has told the Navy he's leaving the Island. The plane we see is probably the same plane that carried Nomi, Bond, Q and the plane Nomi flys. That plane is most likely the way Nomi and Bond got onto the island. Fly down to the water and then go under water to stay off Safins radar. It may even be possible, and this is a stretch. Safin knows Bond and possibly others are coming for him on that plane. So Safin orders the plane to be shot down. The plane does get shot down but Nomi and Bond escape seconds before. Bond is presumed dead by Safin.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope
Loved the new trailer. I probably won’t be seeing the movie in theaters because things are pretty dismal in the U.S. when it comes to the COVID-19 response, but I’ll definitely watch it as soon as it’s available for streaming. I NEED my James Bond fix!!!
Not addressing this to anybody in particular: If I already consider a trailer a spoiler, why would I scroll through treads covering NTTD at this stage of information?
I don't think the content of the trailers can be called a spoiler.
They can if you haven’t watched them - and some haven’t...so please tread carefully.
If someone's avoiding information to the degree of not watching trailers I'd think it makes sense to avoid this thread to.
This thread was created to discuss Craig coming back as Bond and the very early embryonic Bond25...obviously time and information have moved on...but this still isn’t a spoiler thread...and information surmised (or known) can ‘spill out’ beyond what is seen in the trailers...
Whilst I may agree with you, I’m still asking for people to tread carefully...perhaps move the discussion over to a spoiler thread..?..
TBH, I’d give the whole Bond25 forum a swerve if I wanted to stay spoiler free...but I’m not everyone
Unfortunately I'll be unable to see this film at the cinema due to Covid 19, and the risk I'll be at due to just starting 6 months of Chemo.
I'm gutted this will be the first Bond film I've not seen at the cinema going back to You Only Live Twice.
I'll have to wait for either a live stream I can pay for or the Bluray release sometime in 2021.
I think even if it does parachute into theatres in November they'll keep it going back to the big screen in some format for the next 12-18months at least. So hopefully you will get to see it in a cinema.
In the meantime good luck and good strength for your treatment.

There was a time when re-releasing movies was done, especially with Bond. Hollywood isn't making anything now. I think NTTD could be released, pulled and released again or maybe it will just run and run. How long has Tenet now been out? It's been out for almost a month in Europe. How many more weeks/months?

I believe Warner said this was part of their motivation in delaying WW84 — so they could just have Tenet sit in theaters for even longer with relatively little challenge. I'm almost expect NTTD to get a theatrical release this November/December, then leave, then come back in Spring/Summer 2021. What with film production shutting down, if theaters are open and people want to go see movies if the environment is better, what'll they show?

I believe theres movies that are back in production. The Batman has resumed production. Tom Hanks has flown back to Australia to resume filming on the Elvis movie. Not sure what other movies have resumed production are might resume post-production stuff. There's probably not too much than can be shown, but competition will be light.

Daniel Craig, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS have been announced as guests on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon‘ on Global James Bond Day, Monday, 5 October, 2020.

Marketing’s still in full swing for a November release then. Assuming Ellish is going to be the musical guest performing NTTD. Wondering if Craig will get up there and do some backing vocals?

Though, do bear in mind that Craig's last appearance on the show was cancelled when the release date moved.

hope we will see the cast at the Graham Norton Show again, I enjoyed the last ones haha
No worries!
The new series of the Graham Norton Show starts Wednesday, 2 October with a mixture of in studio and video interviews. So hopefully some of the cast will be on. I believe the red sofa is now individual chairs. Will be interesting to see if that effects how the guests interact.
