Remember the pre-internet days when the only info you would get would be in the trades like Variety, a newspaper column or an official press release? There was a lot more mystery back then and we didn't know much at all beyond "James Bond will Return in ...." until the film promotion began. In the 60's and 70's we had the double bill re-releases to get us through until the next film and later on the edited, panned and scanned, commercial interrupted, network TV showings which really ruined the films. The all time abomination was what ABC TV did to OHMSS.....just thinking about it burns my butt. X-(
The suit is another too tight cut in my view. Looks wrong on a chap of his age. A little more class please. Otherwise looks ok
Didn't really pay much attention to the suit, but it's the current style. I have some like that. But they could give Craig some options to be fashion forward, which I'll presume to be baggier.
Personal view of course,but Bond should embody style not fashion.
I'm not opposed to that, though I'm not sure Bond ever truly set the style so much as was on the cutting edge of it. Even Connery in the early days looked like he was taking cues from Cary Grant in North by Northwest.
Whatever the issue, Craig looks older but good. His haircut suits his age.
Yeah he's looking pretty good and far better than some of the other pics I've seen posted here and elsewhere recently, especially that awful haircut he had a while back that looked bizarre on him.
I hope the JBR nugget they heard pans out. I'd love to hear a proper Arnold score with Bond 25. He's never really cut loose during a Daniel Craig movie with the James Bond Theme. It's all over the Brosnan movies and I miss it.

IMO, Arnold overused the Bond theme in the Brosnan movies...it was sort of like a musical crutch. Not being able to use the Bond theme until the very end in CR forced Arnold to come up with other musical cues, including blending the theme song into the
score. I actually think CR and QOS are Arnold's best Bond scores and far and away the best scores of the Craig films. In QOS he was hampered by a bad theme song that he had nothing to do with that was more difficult to weave into the score. That all being said, if Arnold is back for Bond 25 I'd like to hear the Bond theme woven into the score in a more subtle way....but more than it has been in previous Craig films.
I'd have no problem with that. She's tiny (listed around 5'2" but probably closer to 5'0") but can do menacing and unhinged with the best of them. The illusion of height for short actors has been going on forever in movies and it wouldn't be an issue....or....they could play off her small stature with big nasty henchman and a double dose of crazy and evil.
I love the idea of her as a bond villain, she'd be great. But please, not Irma Bunt. IMO, Blofeld is the only villain that should be allowed to return in the rebooted timeline.
I wouldn't mind an Irma Bunt type of character, but not the name Bunt. Blofeld must indeed be the only recurring villain.

Bunt would be fine. While a modern interpretation would likely miss the entire point of the character -- as with Blofeld -- it would seem like a new character.
I would like Helena Bonham-Carter much better than Angelina Jolie. She's kooky.
And if theyre going to give us a proper Garden of Death adaptation like we all want, then they will need to reintroduce Irma Bunt.
The whole point is, Bond hides behind some deadly poisonous shrub watching suicidal types throwing themselves in the piranha pools, etc, then spots Blofeld and Bunt strolling hand in hand through the garden, cackling hysterically like some old married couple that has gone completely insane together. And I believe Bonham-Carter could persuasively cackle like a looney, just like the source material demands.
Though I did like the other rumour where Belluci would return as the big baddy. That would actually have made sense.
If Bellucci comes back but now as the villain, seeing as she was put in contact with Felix. Firstly, could we please have a Jeffery Wright return? And secondly, will be have disagreed with something that ate him?

I meant an Irma Bunt type character, hench woman as opposed to a henchman, we havnt had a decent one since Goldeneye, I'm purposely missing out Miranda Frost.
Well fascinating news over the last week or so and very exciting to get some new updates. Danny Boyle is a very talented director who is capable of greatness and John Hodge has written some dynamic things so it could be brilliant. I love their Bond references scattered throughout Trainspotting 1&2, which suggests that they're both fans of the series. I've heard Boyle say that he's a big Fleming fan in particular which is very encouraging so hopefully some Fleming gets used!
As for the big hook? Well I reckon it'll be Bonds death. But I could be completely wrong. A female villian has been done before so I doubt that that is the big new idea, but it could be, just done in a different flavour. Hopefully Bond doesn't train up some young rookie female agent who then replaces him once he dies. Nightmarish prospect )
I have to admit i'm super curious about the jettisoned Purvis & Wade script now. Was it a Spectre continuation that didn't cut the mustard? Would love to know what it was and where the direction was headed, and why EON ultimately decided to change their mind on it. Bond films always have such interesting production drama's!
I would doubt very much that the "big hook" will be Bond dying. I don't think EON would allow themselves to be painted into that type of corner, even if with there most likely be a new Bond actor for Bond 26. What would they say in the end credits....."James Bond will not return" ? ?:) X-(
