I probably like a number of you am a Steve McQueen fan and a lot of what Bond wears appears to be influence by McQueen.

I have a Steve McQueen Instagram account looking at stuff Mcqueen has worn or the same style of designs.

I ordered a couple of tshirts from Japan that took about 6 weeks to get with delays etc and I ordered them in both medium and large as the sizing was kinda vague.

I believe Daniel Craig's style (who currently plays James Bond) is loosely centred on Steve McQueen, hence why the sale on this forum.

    Hope this helps.

Looking good, Ross. Just checked out the Cockpit USA site. They have some interesting jackets. What do you think about the quality of the jacket you received?

Ross, where are those selfies of you in the JV? What size RAF sheepskin jacket did you get?

Really thick, it is a major chunky jacket but not so much that you can’t wear it.

I’m actually pretty impressed, the last Sheepskin jacket I had was 10 years ago and it was a Gucci one with a suede finish, this will be a lot harder wearing, as long as I don’t put on weight could see me still having this in 30 to 40 years time

I have never seen a film with Steve McQueen. I am not familiar with him. Does anyone suggest which film of his I should watch?

+1 for Bullitt. One of the greatest car chase scenes in film! B-)

Can you believe they just re-made Papillon? Why! The re-make might be great (although I have my doubts as Charlie Hunnam has the Steve McQueen role), but there's just no reason to re-make it.

Ah Yes! Then I have seen a film with Steve McQueen. I have seen the great escape. He is the man who rides the motorbike yes? I liked this film and especially the motorbike chase.
  • welshboy78welshboy78 Posts: 10,320MI6 Agent
    Yes thats the one!

That, Sand Pebbles and Magnificent 7 are kind of old epics

    Papillion is kind of unique and the others on my list are more action orientated - cops and robbers type thing -{

I think Mantis' choices are considered the 'coolest' roles he may have done. Both classics.

Don't bother with 'The Hunter' though, his last role, pretty boring
  • welshboy78welshboy78 Posts: 10,320MI6 Agent
The Hunter is indeed odd, though it was ok. I guess he was very ill at that stage.

Its kind of quirky and doesnt know what it really wants to be - thriller? comedy?

One minute its very serious, the next a bit sitcom’ish
