I'm Sorry, you might of had quite a few posts like this, Barbel and Sir Miles.
Some of you guys might know me, I've been around this forum since 2010 when I was only, well, a kid.
I found it so helpful because no one I knew was obsessed with James Bond like I was, I've learnt so much here and been able to release that valve with people who enjoy the character as much as I do.
I'm super excited because a dream I've had for years is finally coming true.
I get to live in the UK for six months, to study at Royal Holloway in Egham, Surrey. I arrive in early Jan.
For a Bogan born and raised in New Zealand, this is a dream come true, finally I get to live in James Bond Land.
And this is where I need my AJB family.
What shall I do in the UK?
Doesn't have to be James Bond related (But please do say if they are).
Where shall I go?
Is there a cafe or restauant or a museum or a City I have to visit?
Is there any culture things I should be aware of?
Cheers
JS

For Bond get yourself into London and book a Bond Movie Tour as a staring point. Then take a walk around there are plenty of film Locations documents here and elsewhere. Bond in Motion is a good wander.
There are plenty landmarks to see in London and beautiful historic building all with a story to tell. Museums to cater for all tastes.
If you are into films the the Harry Potter Studio Tour is a good day out but book before you go.
There is a zoo and theme park near you location.
If you are here for a long period of t8me spread your wings and go further afield transport is pretty straight forward.
Do your research and enjoy, you are lucky to be able to travel to the other side of the world, but I hope it also enables you to appreciate how beautiful New Zealand is as well.
Good luck,
Cheers :007)
Thanks for the tips and advice, Bond44.
haha, yeah New Zealand is a beautiful place, I've realised that whenever I've traveled overseas.

I took a tour bus to Stonehenge for a day trip, very nice, but a little rushed,,but still, I got to see Stonehenge.

If you don't mind me asking Ammo08, where were you stationed Mildenhall or Lakenheath ? My Dad (stepfather) was stationed at Mildenhall from 73 to 90's then back to the US, Wyoming, until he retired.
I think as others have said, where you go and what you see will depend on your interests in real life. There's so much to do and see in England I'd go with an open mind. In saying that, when I think of Bond I think more of the exotic locations he's been to (remember he is MI6 -{ ). If you get a chance, may be consider a trip to Jamaica and visit Goldenye - it' s a lot closer to the UK than it is to NZ.
In saying that if you're in to cars, maybe see if you can do a tour (if they have them) of the Aston Martin plant if that's your thing. It's located in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Unsure how far that is from Surrey but looking at the map it shouldn't be a long train ride. There is always the Sherlock Holmes tours where you can vist 221B Baker St and/or the Sherlock Holmes Pub.
Regardless, good luck with your studies and I hope you have a fantastic time whatever you do and please by all means, if you have a 'Bond adventure' post it here at ajb007.

I also enjoyed my Jack the Ripper Tour of London...lots of fun.
Lord Baden-Powell's house had a line over 2 hours long or I would have visited it...he founded the Boy Scouts.
