I think an Ian Fleming biopic with Mr. Rush as The Man would be fantastic!

    Sadly I think he's a little too old now.

    At this stage I think Geoffrey Rush could maybe portray Fleming in the last year or so of his life. Fleming did age rather rapidly and prematurely, no doubt as a result of his alarming tobacco and alcohol habits. Maybe 15 years ago Rush could have portrayed Fleming in the literary Bond heyday of the late 50s.

    Had always thought he would have made a great Fleming over the years. Sad to say this will never happen. Just saw news that he has become a "shut-in" because of being behaving inappropriately towards an actress during a 2015 production of King Lear.

    I still want to see Eddie Redmayne portraying a young Fleming...and a proper portrayal, not that TV miniseries from a couple of years ago.
