It dawned on me today that every time they remodel a building now, you enter on your left, instead of on your right, you know, like the English drive....It's a plot I tell you, a sinister plot...

I suspect that the popularity of soccer is part of it also..

and all the good television shows are from England...

Mwa-ha-ha-haaa!

Haven't noticed the left-entry thing in U.S. buildings, but perchance has there been an increase in the sale of swords in recent years? One theory on why the U.K. drives on the left is that in olden days, horsemen would pass each other on the left so that they could sword-fight with their right arms should the encounter turn hostile, rather than having to fight over the horse.

I am a planner. I have noticed you enter to the left a good deal now. In ancient Egypt the left entrance was for females. Maybe it is not actually the Brittish taking over but women.
