Convoy driving during filming: A film shoot means that the Atlantic Road will be closed for periods of up to two hours between June 5th and 7th, The Norwegian Public Roads Administration notifies. The movie is likely James Bond. The road will be open between 15 and 18, and at 00 to 06. Convoy driving will otherwise occur at specific time periods.

Is it me or does it look hugely unlikely that there would be a car chase on that road? Car chases on one single road are pretty boring- you want some turns and things. And it’s only shut for two days isn’t it?
And why would they need a world-class rally driver (if the Petter Solberg story checks out) to drive that road? It would make far more sense to use a driver like him on the Trollstigen road, but filming there isn't confirmed by anyone yet.
Helicopter chasing / shooting /bombing the car on that road would be cool ala TSWLM
Yeah that was the only thing I could think of: a bit like Licence To Kill's Sanchez van breakout scene- not a chase as such but an event, if you see what I mean. Or a Fast and Furious-style truck hijack; something like that.
But if they're only filming for a couple of hours a time over two days it's not likely to be a big set piece- probably just a nice shot of a car driving along it or a dialogue scene or something.
Number24, I read that a new production of The Lady from the Sea is going to be made for Netflix.
I confess my ignorance in not having heard of this book but when I saw the title and the Norway connection, I thought I had at first stumbled upon something...
Åndalsnes Avis, a local newspaper for the Rauma area report there will be filming on Thursday for an "international film production".
Here is my translation:
Line producer Per Henry Borch in Truenorth Norway:
(Headline) Hopes the public will be considerate during the international filming by Trolstigen on Thursday
- There is not much space while the filming is going on, so we urge people to rather see the fininshed movie at the cinema than being where the filming is going on.
If line producer Per Henry Borch in Truenorth Norway succeed in getting an international production to use Norway as a location the company has the responsibility for the whole production while it is in Norway, including permits, logistics, equipment and personel, according to Borch.
Thursday there will be filming by Trollstigen for an international film Torsdag gjøres det opptak ved Trollstigen for en internasjonal film including the use of an helicopter.
The big question now is: is it Bond25 or Black widow? Black Widow is planned to stop filming in Sæbø around now (Wednesday afternoon), Bond25 starts filming on the Atlantic Sea Road on Wednesday next week and I doubt any more international movie productions are filming in this county around this time.
I remember for Casino Royale they did some nice beauty shots of the DBS driving along in the countryside to meet Mathis, including Bond and Vesper in the car, as shown on a car programme at the time, but it didn’t make it to the final cut of the movie. I’d have liked to have seen those shots sometime.

It‘s so strange, to this day I could swear I saw that scene in the cinema back in the day. I can remember bc that was the last thing I saw before a quick stop in the bathroom.

This afternoon several vehicles from the Black Widow filming in Sæbø have been seen in the town of Ålesund. The town is a detour if you're going from Sæbø to Trollstigen in Rauma, but only a short one. Are they stopping over for the night before going to Rauma tomorrow or is Ålesund a location in Black Widow? Ålesund has some very nice art nouvau architecture that could be cinematic.
We'll see tomorrow.
This is strange. Per Henry Borch of Truenorth Norway said to Åndalsnes Avis that an international production will film in Trollstigen tomorrow, Thursday. But Romsdals Budstikke, the regional newspaper, has an article about a stunt driver and his rally car waiting near Trollstigen to film the Norwegian film "Børning 3", he's going to race his car up the winding road. What's happening?

The filming in Trollstigen today is for Børning 3, a Norwegian movie. Why on earth did the Line Producer of Truenorth call it "an international production"?
The plot thickens - there are two movie productions working on Trollstigen today. Børning 3 is one of them, but what is the other one?
How is it even possible, given the geography of the place? If Børning 3 is filming a scene with a rally car at high speed I don't see how a second prodcution can work there because of safety and sound.

It's not Bond25 that's being filmed in Trollstigen, it's "Black Widow".
When "Black Widow" was being filmed in Sæbø many from the crew lived on the ship Bluefort:

You can basically read into that article the plot for DAD. I hope I'm wrong, or maybe proven wrong that it's one great plot line that's too big for any single Bond movie!

I don’t know if this has been debunked as Black Widow too but the Express has decided to weigh in on it too (I’ve no idea what their ‘illegal’ headline refers to:

No doubt you're very familiar with Henrik Ibsen?

Unless Børning 3 is Bond25's Norwegian code name like Blue Harvest was used as a cover name for Return of the Jedi.
