I wonder about the "think the Olympics" line. It can mean a lot of things, but I too hope it isn't about the British royal family.
The Soviet state was never the villan in the movies, someone.... I mean Someone, is right about that.
I hope and believe the plot won't be about the tense relationship with Russia this time either.
Does anyone think the mention of the Balkans and the earlier reports of Dubrovnik as a location isn't a coincident?

I think the Balkans bit is more about finding someone who can be a convincing Russian. I don't expect Dubrovnik to be a location. Despite my Europe locations theory.

The Norwegian lake shore filming has been confirmed as Bond25 and that filming takes place 25-31 March when a scene with a girl will see her kill two intruders.
In Spectre, Madeleine tells Bond when they're on the train, that a man came to kill her father, Mr White, when she was a child and she knew where a gun was kept in their house and implied she killed the assassin.
Is this Norway scene a flashback for Madeleine?
BTW Mr White's house in Spectre was in snow, by a lake...
Hmm, logical thinking with the Madeleine part there. That could also imply that she doesn't die near the start of the film (PTS or soon after) as it would be kind of pointless to go so much into her background then kill her off soon after. I just hope the girl is not a daughter Bond and Madeleine has had between the end of SP and B25...a getting revenge on the person who tried to kill my child sort of plot—or Bond having a child in general—doesn't really fit with Bond.
What do they mean by "girl"? It could be child, but remember we call Bond's love interests girls. If the scene really is Madeleine's childhood memories it could be a dream. The only flashback so far in a Bond movie are in the PTS of CR and a few seconds in OHMSS. I agree that if the scene really is from Madeleine's childhood it is likely a sign she lives through the PTS and has a fairly large role in the movie.
I don't know how I missed that the Twitter says the girl is a child
It's hightly prabable the girl is a Madeline as a child and the scene is a flashback or a nightmare. If that's true, Craig or any of the other main actor will be involved. It also seems likely Norway will stand in for Austria. But there are many cheaper places to film a scene like that. Is it possible there is second location in Norway? New Zealand and Norway stood in for Kashmir in India in MI: Fallout, but NZ was used because of Kashmir is remote and a violent conflict is going on there and Norway was used because they needed a unique feature in the landscape.
I hope there is a non-flashback scene too where Norway is Norway. The scene by the lake is shot here because there's little point in filming in Austria or Canada just for five minutes on the screen or something when they're filming in a snowy country anyway. But about 20 million dollars can only buy a limited number of minutes in a Bond film, so I guess I'm only grasping at straws.
This is my translation, much helped by Google Translate. If anyone who's learnt any French the last thirthy years or even has French as their first language wants to have a go, you're very welcome:
"Casting:
We're looking for a young girl for an important part in a feauture-length film. A Young girl (10-14 years old) With blonde hair and blue eyes. It's for portraying Lea Seydoux as a child. The physical resemblance is very important."
What does "Long metrage avec Lea Seydoux" mean?
it's looking more and more like we'll get to see the traumatic episode from Madeleine's chidhood.
If filming will start in Norway on March 25th and filming in Pinewood starts April 5th, when will the press conferance be?
If it's just Madeline's chidhood trauma that will be filmed at Langvann it's reasonable to assume no-one from the main cast will be there (other than Christof Waltz watching from a distance?), so perhaps around the April 5th?

I think so too, but it's possible we're completely wrong. Maybe the casting Call is for a different Movie. Maybe the girl by the lake is someone else in present day.
They're obviously casting a girl in France, and Seydoux is currently shooting "The French Dispatch" entirely in France...
I would have thought all the casting is done by now, surely?
Seeing as the Norway filming starts in less than a month, that's a good point. Seems to be leaving it very late to cast the main individual for that location's scene. Although was that casting call just sent out or sent our a while ago and only just spread in Bond circles?
Also, could they be filming exterior shots of cabin in Norway and then interior cabin scenes where the young girl is needed at Pinewood in a few months time? That would explain the call only just going out?

I read it as a possibility that the child is the offspring of Madelaine and Bond. Possibly born during the timeline when Bond did indeed leave the service between Spectre and now. I could be way off base, and not at all fond of another ' and this time its personal' schtick. We of course will have to suspend judgement until we know more. I'm keeping away from spoilers from this point on (if I can resist)
Of that of which we cannot speak we must pass over in silence- Ludwig Wittgenstein.
Lea and Bond met up in 2015 in Spectre and the casting call asks for a girl who is 10-14 years old. Continuity in Bond films is fluid at best, but it sounds strange making the firl their daughter.
"Robaix, une Lumiere" has only four actors listed yet, and "The story of my wife" has only her co-lead Anders Baasmo Christiansen and Lea herself listed. Could be for those, but I know the latter is about a seaman who meats the adult Lea by chance and … marries her.
The girl in the Langvann scene will have exterior scenes of her running out of the cabin and out on the ice.

Now that would be awesome.
He's hot... yes cast him! :x

Remember that Neal Callow told attendees at the opening of the 007 ELEMENTS exhibit, including Club James Bond France, that DC's wife Rachel Weisz would have the perfect profile for Bond25's Bond girl.

But Craig is going to be "childhood trauma Bond" …...

It means *feature film with Lea Seydoux.*
They will be able to bond over their childhood traumas.
They're obviously casting a girl in France, and Seydoux is currently shooting "The French Dispatch" entirely in France...
I can see Wes Anderson doing childhood flashbacks more than I can see a Bond film doing that.
Here is the entire cast for The French Dispatch. No child listed.

Filming started November last year, so it's filming will be almost over.

And this describes the film as being about US journalists in France.

Might be cool to have a tense, thriller-esque scene at the start of the film with a young girl running away from two intruders etc.
