Odd, just went into that Express article again and noticed they've gotten rid of all the close-up pictures of the girl during filming. Might've had some complaints regarding posting pictures of a child actor or something? ?:)
According to a Norwegian member of MI6Community there was a report about the filming of Bond25 on the breakfast show yesterday of a TV channel i don't have access to. They spoke to a Bond fan in the area who had spoken to the girl actress (yes, I know) and the girl was Norwegian.
I know next to nothing about fashion and fashion for children in particular, but is the girl's jacket old-fashioned?
I think the camera is an IMAX camera, so it's espcially heavy. Not that I know that stuff. What I do know is that it's easier to run on ice if you have something to hold on to.

It was originally rumoured that Bond 25 would be shot entirely digital but utilizing the large format Arri 65 camera. However that does not appear to be the case anymore. According to Indie Wire:
“Bond 25,” which started shooting this week in Norway, will be the first James Bond film shot in large-format, with Oscar-winning cinematographer Linus Sandgren (“La La Land”) using both Panavision and IMAX 65mm cameras. A leaked image (via @ImAFilmEditor) and footage from a remote lake near Oslo confirmed the presence of an IMAX camera attached to a Voltstack electric generator.
IndieWire has learned that “Bond 25” (now with the working title “Eclipse”) will be shot primarily in Panavision but with action sequences reserved for the special IMAX treatment."
Looks like EON/MGM is letting Fukunaga run with this, and if anything, Bond 25 will be a visual feast. It wouldn't surprise me that parts of the film will still be shot digitally (Panavision also has a highly touted brand new large format digital camera). I also wonder if Bond 25 will use "shifting" aspect ratios in IMAX cinemas. I also think they don't want to be outdone by the last two MI films which used IMAX cameras to great effect for the big action sequences and for that matter the last few big Marvel films.
Awesome! It's definitely going to be an absolute beauty visuals wise. Can't wait for the big screen! I'd say that IMAX info also deserves a posting on the regular B25 discussion thread—it's not really spoilery and it's a pretty big development.
I think that what can't be seen in those pictures is probably dots on the stuntman's face for digital face replacement. That partial face that can be seen will be Rami Malek's face with digital SFX.
And they will de-age that partial face (not that Malek looks old for 40), like Sam Jackson in Captain Marvel or Michael Douglas in Ant Man when they had their faces de-aged.
That jacket the girl is wearing is very 80s. She is a young Madeleine and the intruder is a young Malek, who will rise through the global criminal organisation that is Spectre and take over while Blofeld is in prison. But Blofeld will still ultimately control his empire from his cell, like Blofeld on his boat in FRWL, issuing orders to his hench-people.
Why does he appear to try to pull her from the lake? In Spectre, Blofeld talked about "dearest Madeleine" and reminisces about when he met her when she was a child, but Madeleine doesn't remember. I think young Spectre soldier Malek had orders not to kill her.
He shoots at the ice to make her submit.
One imagines that with one intruder dead and the other, Malek, distracted by Madeleine, Mr White escapes. Not very fatherly, but their relationship wasn't the best.
Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.

Im inclined to think this scene is flashback to the scene Madeline describes to Bond on the train in Spectre.
The age of the girl in these scenes is like 12+ so cant be a daughter surely?? And looks very much like a young Madeline and as its very close to the scene described by Madeline in Spectre i feel that its a flashback as opposed to a daughter scenario.
Of course i could be wrong and it could be a surprise if it wasnt what i think it is, but my gut is going with flashback. The clothes the girls wearing (although im not expert in this field) doesnt look the "in" style. Looks a vintage style IMO.
Is it https://twitter.com/SebastienSoudai ... who I think is Rami's stuntman?
The masked guy could still have digital face replacement dots on his face.

I love the skiing camera rig they've got to capture the running on ice shots.
What do you think the advantage is if that over a Stedicam?

Don't have to worry about the cameraman slipping?
So they have 6 guys running on the ice, 2 of them backwards, instead of 1?
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
That's a surprise, you haven't been very interested in that film being made before
And I shall keep going on about it until it is made

I think you can just edit the second, and post
Deleted, or something in its place.
Fixed for you, Sunflower888. And the answer is yes.
I didn't post twice, Thunderpussy.
