  I had to google him because I've never heard of him before. Here is some of what I found:
  
  - Icke believes that a genetically modified human/Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians, known as the "Babylonian Brotherhood", or the Illuminati, manipulate global events to keep humans in a constant state of fear, so the Archons can feed off the 'negative energy' this creates
  
  - Incidents and issues Icke attributes to the Illuminati, or 'Global Elite', include the Oklahoma City bombing, Dunblane, Columbine, 9/11 (which Icke believes was an 'inside job' to provide an excuse to advance an agenda of regime change across the world), 7/7, global warming, chemtrails, water fluoridation, the death of Princess Diana, the assassination of John F. Kennedy and Agenda 21
  
  - Icke introduces his three categories of people.
  "Red Dresses" lack consciousness and free will, and their human bodies are holographic veils.
  A second group, the "sheeple" (the vast majority of humanity), are conscious, but do as they are told and are the Brotherhood's main energy source.
  The third and smallest group are those who see through the illusion; they are usually dubbed dangerous or mad.

  In Jon Ronson's book Them, someone angrily derided Icke as the guy who dumps in the punch bowl - in other words, fairly credible theories get tarnished by association with his nonsense.
  
  Not sure why we need to focus on that kind of stuff, I mean there is plenty of stuff out there that has been demonstrated to be conspiracy and cover-up. Namely, our homegrown State-approved scandals such as Hillsborough, Gosport, Contaminated blood and the Asian Pakistani grooming scandals to which local authorities turned a blind eye. Oh, and the Church's paedophile abuse. All took the best part of 30 years to come to light, largely because of the State's ability to run down the clock - during which a good many die and become ineligible for compensation. Which is partly why they do it.
  
  At the end of it the Prime Minister of the day gets up in Parliament to say what a terrible scandal it all was and how the victims have been vindicated - but until that time said victims are regarded as utter filth, and anyone who suggests otherwise might be a bit weird. We all have to wait for Simon Says before we think otherwise.
  
  Not sure where Icke comes into all that - I think his website is a sort of holding pen where any conspiracy theory is allowed to stay indefinitely and won't be discriminated against.
