One phrase I've thought would be good for a title comes from another Bond film: Names Are For Tombstones sounds quite Fleming to me. I think moreso without the 'baby'!
I like 'Shatterhand' too but it will be the third one word title starting with s so I doubt the producers will go with it. Barbara Broccoli confirmed that - it's not 'Shatterhand'.
A strong title might be:
Death To Spies
"Smert Shpionam" (English translation: death to spies) mentioned in Fleming's 'From Russia With love' and incorporated into the plot of the film 'The Living Daylights'. One of Dalton's great lines in the film. The title sounds more dramatic than Once Upon A Spy, and it should look cool on a poster!
I quite like:
Shaken Not Stirred
for Bond 26 (assuming the role is recast and the film is a soft reboot).
Someone mentioned 'Death To Spies' on another Bond forum and when I read the title I thought "wow, it's so obvious a choice!" If Eon is struggling to come up with a title, it's one worth serious consideration. I'm sure the actual title - whatever it is - will be good. I've liked all the Bond film titles so I'm not too concerned.
I love 'Shatterhand' - it's a bit silly, over the top, but really Bond sounding so I'd love to see it used in a future film.
I think Shatterhand would be a great title if it were also the name of the villain, and the villain was a cannibal. He could say, ‘First, I ate her hand. Then I Shatterhand!’

There’s a nice bit on fan art on CBn with a title that I thought was perfect: Double Or Nothing. I think that’s bang on: it even references Bond’s current status of being a nothing rather than a double-O.
I was thinking, you know that tagline for YOLT: ‘You only live twice, and twice... is the only way to live’. Well, you could do the old inversion on that and make a fun title: ‘The Only Way To Die’. Quite fun I thought.
But surely Eon have a huge stack of these by now? They must think up dozens fircevery film and whittle it down: it can’t be that hard to pull one out, can it?
Of the ones in the list I personally prefer Eclipse. this would seem to go along with the single word titles that EON seem to like, but I personally would like something like "For her majesty" That would echo the synopses that has been put out about Bond returning from retirement
Nor particularly keen with any of the suggestions, either for plain not liking them or doubting they will fit the story. Nevertheless, a couple comments:
- Would love that they use Risico, but when (not if) they do i think that'll be the name of the villain, à la Dr. No. The plot will have nothing to do with the original Fleming story.
- They have denied it again and again, but I would love some already used titles in other media: namely Everything or Nothing; Carte Blanche; Agent under Fire; Eidolon.
- I remain convinced that if they adapt both of the Warren Ellis comic stories into one (or two) films they have the next CR waiting to happen. Or better yet, hire Ellis to write the screenplay. He is a very talented person.
Just waiting for them to reveal the title to be Kill Death or Die!
"Enjoy it while it lasts."
"The very words I live by."
Has probably been mentioned:
What if „Bond25“ was kept to celebrate the jubilee?
Wouldn't like Bond 25 to be the title. My gut is telling me the title will be revealed with the first teaser trailer. Not sure when the first teaser trailer will come out, but I bet the title ties into Rami Maleks villain name. We still don't know what his name is.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Everything or Nothing is pretty decent, yes; but I do think that Carte Blanche is the best Bond title in recent years- it's pretty perfect.
I guess the only issue (apart from the IFP thing) would be, ironically, how well it translates!
I don’t remember which novel it was from, but I remember that phrase ( which Bond mistakenly reads from a billboard for Shell gasoline, the “S” in Shell being burnt out)
I don’t know if it is s viable movie title, but it IS authentic Ian Fleming.
In his latest video Calvin Dyson mentioned a rumour about the title of Bond25. I don't know if that makes this post worthy of a spoiler warning or it belongs in the spoilers thread, but here we go:
According to a source he mentioned the title is "Genome of a woman" and aparently Craig likes it. Calvin. like myself, think that's a little clunky and likes "Genome" better. I'm still not impressed. Genome sounds like the title of a Sci-Fi movie and doesn't sound very much like a Bond title.
It‘s actually „Genoma“ and I have absolutely no idea what that should mean. Not only is it bland, it‘s pretty stupid since I don’t think the general audience will have a liking to it...

Apparently, it was "Genome", and "Genoma" was a mistake by the anonymous source.
sounds like a parody, like someone's taken Property of a Lady and made it all sciencey and stuff
what could it mean? a genome is either the DNA of an individual, or the typical DNA common to a species. All women share the Human Genome. So is it the Genome of all women, or of one individual?
This suggested title does tie into the supposed Genetics plot.
Maybe the villain is breeding a race of superwomen to take over the Earth? Maybe when Bond enters Blofeld's secret lab and sees 12 beautiful women, they wont be there to carry the biological weapon Blofeld has created, they will be the biological weapon?
...or, there is the rumour in the other thread that the little girl in some scenes may be Madeleine's clone. Maybe the evil plot is clones of Madeleine will take over the Earth?
Reminds me of Mulder's sister in the X-Files. Maybe there could be UFOs, too, while they're at it!
Good point. If this story is legit I wonder what the origional English title is. I'm still hoping for Property of a Lady. a person's genome is her property, at least I hope so.

I actually really like that {[]

A line from Tennyson’s poem The Passing of Arthur ( Paraphrased )
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

I would not like that at all.....or "James Bond" or "007".
"A reason To Die" has actually grown on me but apparently that will not be the title.

"The Kill Chain"
It's mentioned somewhere in the BBC Spooks TV series which I watched last year whilst recovering from major surgery!!
"Do you expect me to talk? "No Mister Bond I expect you to die"

Probably not, but considering the Scotland action...
