The trucker jacket in the film has no side adjusters and 7 front buttons instead of the usual 6. There is an extra button near the hem.
As mentioned earlier in this thread Diesel has made some jackets with the same front button placement, but I haven't found any jacket from that brand that is even close in terms of looks.
I have been searching a lot for it the last few days and i haven't found any jacket from ANY brand that looks as perfect as this one.
I am not sure if i am obsessing about it due to the fact we just can't identify it but after seen hundreds of denim jackets while searching for it i came to the conclusion i haven't seen anything as good as this one.
Everything about it is fantastic. The collar size, the textile, the button placement, the pocket design, the balanced minimalist detailing . It is just perfect.

I agree on the jacket being just about perfect.
What increases the mystery of the jacket is that Tom Cruises' stand in was wearing a generic black denim jacket (6 front buttons with side adjusters).
Since there were obviously multiples of the hero trucker jacket due to all of the stunt work and safety rigging, it's odd that none were made for stand-ins if custom made.
As for the costume designer, he has no social media accounts. I can't go into details, but I have been working on other ways to indirectly get in touch with him.

Interesting discovery! Perhaps we should contact the stand-in himself for some information. He might remember something about it. His name is Sean Francis George. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2881412/

The guys at the 'Light The Fuse" podcast might have his contact. They interviewed Michael Kaplan a few weeks ago and they talked in length about the jackets TC wore in Ghost Protocol.
The jacket worn by Mr George is not the same as that worn by Cruise. The stand in jacket has side adjusters and only 6 front buttons, as well as a smaller collar and different stitching. This isn't the only instance in the film when the costumes don't exactly match. In the Paris chase Mr George wore a black leather jacket with zippered chest pockets instead of the blue Hugo Boss Lemy jacket.
There are photos of Mr George wearing the navy blue Hugo Boss Coram bomber jacket, so there were times the costumers supplied the correct clothing.

So it's been 2 years since this movie came out, and only recently did I realize how awesome this suit is, almost gives Bond a run for his money.... this is early on in the movie, during the Berlin exchange in the PTS ( ) ) )
Dark gray suit....
Not quite black (charcoal?) dress shirt....
Dark, almost maroon\purple tie....
Has this caught anyone's eye yet? I know Bond's suit style is the end all be all but this one gets super close!

Although TC wore a Brioni suit at the premiere of Fallout, i am not so sure that this particular one from the pre-title sequence is a Brioni.
I am doing some research lately on that denim jacket he wore in London and although i haven't managed a direct contact with the costume department yet, from other people i asked related to the production it sounds like they custom made almost everything.
The trucker jacket is almost certainly custom designed by Kurland. The shirts were designed to Kurland's specifications and manufactured by Antoshirt. I was told that the suits were custom made as well by the costume department. Perhaps they were assisted by Brioni's tailors but i would be surprised if those suits were ever stocked by Brioni.
So returning to the subject of that trucker jacket, I think we are out of luck. Maybe Daniel Love would be interested enough to replicate one for us.

Would also love to have replica of Walker’s military jacket. Just in case he reads along here
I believe the shirt is a dark green (it looks that way on my Blu Ray).
Wow, I don't know why my brain never thought to go to green! ) )
It's tough to get a good look on it (the movie is constantly playing on Epix and I watch it every time) and for some reason I figured it's a dark charcoal color. Green is quite bold! I guess they were looking to stand apart from the more typical suit outfit colorings.

Apologies. I have edited the post and I suggest you edit yours too to remove it.
I didn't think much of it tbh. Whatever the stunt is, it'll be posted everywhere and in all the promotions I would think. None of those types of things have been much of a spoiler for these films.
Never understood what a pandemic has to do with overseas shipping.... ?:)
International mail relies in part on space available in commercial aircraft. International travel is all but non-existent, so less space available. Economy shipping between some countries is suspended entirely and other classes of mail are significantly delayed.

It's either a custom jacket or heavily modified by the costume department because I can not find it. Or one from a long time ago no longer made.
Anyone know if the costume designer was ever contacted?

And here’s his stand-in jacket:

The textile that Tom's jacket is made of is not matching the one of the stand-in's so i guess it is a completely different one.

Damn! I just contacted them and they replied that they are not shipping to Europe at this time. Thanks for letting us know anyway!

Hey, I’m very late to this part haha, but I was wondering is the correct colour to order for the shirt “fossil” or “sage”. Thanks.
