Octopussy fight v AVTAK fight

Just been watching Octopussy (which I love, despite some criticism). Does anyone think the fight on the Octopussy island is one of Roger Moore’s best fight performances? He actually looks sharp with some of the ducking and blocking choreography. Contrast this too AVTAK, 2 years later and the fight in Stacey Sutton’s mansion. Where he looks almost geriatric. Any thoughts?

I've come to realise that I enjoy AVTAK more than most others do, but that fight scene in the microchip factory is a candidate for one of the worst action scenes in any Bond. They just have no concept for it; I think the script must've just said 'THEY FIGHT'! It feels barely directed at all and there's no story to it; like they assembled it in the editing room afterwards. The shot where Bond deals with one of the guys offscreen and then it cuts to Bond just helping the guy lay down on the conveyor belt... just terrible.
I actually liked the fight in Stacey Sutton's house, with the tumbling and the use of a shotgun. But in hindsight, whether which parts were Sir Roger and the stuntman, James Bond did show his age in how he moved. Overall, it made it funny to see Zorin's identification device in his desk tag out James Bond as "Extremely dangerous."
