Went to my AD and they’re expecting it sometime next month. Of course, they mentioned I could pre-order but I really want a good look at it first and even then, I think the price is too steep. I’m more interested in the Milanese strap as an add on. A boutique told me those should be available for those who choose to upgrade their nato version.
The Google Alerts I have setup for the watch show that a number of Omega boutiques already have this in stock and for sale. Should be a lot of new photos coming up very soon. Here's what came up yesterday:

Yup. A few people on the Omega thread now have the watch (London and Germany)
Looks like the fancy box was just for Omega promotion
Eg
I’m a huge fan of this watch and I know I’ll end up getting it at some point but ughhh...Omega’s most expensive Bond edition (that’s not gold) but unlike the others, there’s no wooden box, no loupe, doesn’t come with both the bracelet and NATO, and while the leather roll is great—just to twist the knife a little further—it has a very prominent spot for a spring bar tool that Omega didn’t even include.

Will be doing a trip to Greece in August. Anyone know how many euros it would be please? Don’t want to pay the crazy mark up and purchase it in Australia.

it actually doesn’t look like there’s an Aussie markup up at all. This is just looking at the Omega website, but for some crazy reason it looks cheaper in Aus than anywhere else. According to the watch’s Australian page, it’s $13,075AUD. The US page shows it as $9200USD which is $13,680AUD. The UK page it’s £7,390 which is $14,326AUD. Europe it’s €8,640 which is $13,927AUD. So going by that you’re better off buying it down under.
Although, if you’re looking at waiting until August to grab one, there’ll probably be quite a few of them on the second hand market for less than retail.
I think supply will be tight initially and they will be drip fed out. However if truly not limited I would wait a good 6 months until the film fuss dies down and pickup a minter or discounted one from a AD.

I think that’s because the Australian dollar is not doing so well at the moment
So cs007 if you can sort out any GST, VAT, or tax issues it may be worth looking at the Aus price it if you’re going there for a trip
I've never bought a watch directly from Omega (just online through AD's and private sellers) so this might be a completely laughable question but I was wondering, at an Omega boutique can you haggle? Is it like a car dealership where if you make an attempt you can get some $$ off or say a strap thrown in, or is it like a regular retail store where the price on the tag is what you'll pay no matter what?

Not a chance. The boutiques have a zero discounting policy. You might get some extras though. I got a couple of bottles of boll and an extra NATO with my SP 300.
All a Boutique gives you is the luxury of making you feel like a king, glasses of champagne and making you feel like a movie star as well.
You can bag Omega goodies though, they’ll have some NTTD ones, prob a pen, umbrella and other stuff.
Only bought once from Boutique, a Snoopy and I bagged some Spectre goodies as it was around same time.
But I agree in 8 months or so watch should be discounted.

I’ve certainly got a discount from a boutique, when I bought my Planet Ocean. It’s worth asking but I doubt you’d get anything on a new, popular model like the NTTD watch. You might get them to throw in a NATO...
I have no trouble getting around 20% discount at an AD, but as far as I know, Boutiques have a no discount policy. But maybe I just didn't try hard enough )
JTM, I find any shop is willing to haggle in Australia )
The UK however is completely different, I'd never go in an ask "what's your best price", in Australia it's my default question.
I see no harm in asking politely they'll get it all the time from the Asian market. I got a discount from Tag Heuer a few years back.
If they simply can't do it I'd ask what they can throw in to sweeten the deal. They'll have promo items around I'm sure, an additional strap etc. One thing that always looks nice with this type of item is the movie related watch stand/poster etc that they use in the window displays.
Also ask if they have a Club you can join. I know Tag Heuer have their 360 Club which gets you invites to events etc. I'm sure Omega do too, for Tag Heuer I recall you have to join when purchasing.

Yeah thought it might soften the blow a little considering the ££
Just a black cardboard box lol

8600 Euros
7600 Euros
You‘ll get the greek VAT (24% included) back but will have to declare and pay for the Australian GST
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

That’s exactly what I was thinking, getting the matching NATO thrown in. Can’t hurt to try I guess.

Expected end of March.
I’m guessing it isn’t at an omega boutique?
