We're making a new prototype with updating sizing since the originals were too small. Once the sizing is sorted, we'll start the run, add these to our site, then start accepting orders. I'll post here as soon as we're ready to roll.

Just curious if there’s any update on these?

The run is almost finished and should be ready to ship by the end of next week. I'll post here again when they're ready to go!

These are in stock and ready to ship:

    https://www.magnoliclothiers.com/royale-swim-shorts-other-garments-p-1016.html

The sizes are between 30-35 waist (unstretched) for the moment. If these sell well, we may add some larger sizes.

The shorts do stretch a bit. Measure your waist (where you would have the waistband of these sitting) and divide by 2". This is more or less the waist width you should select. These also have a draw string, so if it's a tiny bit big, you can tie them tighter (which might be a better effect than muffin-topping if they're too tight). ;%

Wow, first time I'm buying "extra large" for a 34 :))

Happy to see these available, thanks for the updates!

Definitely ordering a pair, if only as incentive to get into shape for next summer!

I normally wear a 31 or 32 Waist in pants/shorts/jeans but this method is giving me the measurement of 17.75'' which would be bigger than the Extra Large. Is this correct?

45.5 cm is 17.9 inches.. His extra large is 17.5 inches.. but as he said they stretch.. so you are right there at the XL size.

Mfisher's advise is your best bet. We are planning on doing some larger sizes in the near future as well...

Got the shorts. Great job, Indy! Fantastic and screen accurate! However, these are unforgiving if you’re not in great shape, which I think we all know.

I’ll muster up some courage to post a few pics if you guys don’t roast me too badly. Is there a preferred website to upload?

Again, fantastic shorts. I wear boxer briefs that I’d describe as the same length, so comfortable for me, but I don’t think I’ll ever have the body to sport these outside of my own pool!

I’ll sport them over the holiday at home and post additional pics. Definitely recommend!

Colors look true to the style.

I’m 5’7”, 175 lbs with a 33” waist and purchased the Large. They’re snug, but feel like they’ll stretch and break in over time. I didn’t even need to adjust the drawstring.

Again, no secrets here. Get on Amazon and buy a pouch if you’re more modest as I am.

And, again, need to put the booze away and hit the gym harder! Started lifting again once I’d placed the order.

Again, great job, Indy! I’ve wanted these for 14 years now (more on that in a future post). I’ll post a review on your site once I’ve walked around in them and gone for a dip. It’s still 70 degrees in Southern California.
