Bond 4K on Amazon Prime

Was reading an article this morning about the 4K restorations coming to Amazon Prime US at the start of April. Does anyone know if this will be in the UK as well?

    If so I wonder if they will upgrade existing digital purchases of Bond movies to 4K versions.

    It would be great if even for a small extra charge you could upgrade to a 4k version.

    Are any of you in America that can see the 4K movies launching today? Is there a big difference from a Blu Ray played on a 4K player?

    US account only lets you watch certain stuff in UK and Bonds are Geo locked.
    It doesn’t show as 4K though.

    Some progress, can now see the 4k versions so will try and playback later. Only done on Mac so far which is 1080p. Anything specific you want me to check ?
    Haven’t watched them on Blu in ages

    Was really just curious to see if there was a notable difference between the Blue Ray and 4K. I have an upscaling 4K player which polishes the originals a little more but wondered if anyone had seen a substantial difference. I think Skyfall is the best 4K transfer I’ve seen of the Craig films.

    Unfortunately not, due to the licensing debacles over the last few years about distribution.
