took me YEARS to finally get hold of a copy (on VHS, still looking for a DVD copy)
You should try and get hold of the deluxe edition- 2 discs, interviews with the cast, deleted scenes, commentary from Michael G. Wilson explaining what Cubby thought of the film, etc.

I certainly agree, keep it to feature films. Those various miniseries are certainly worthy of discussion in a thread somewhere around here though. I personally haven't seen The Little Drummer Girl yet. With Le Carre in particular I've always made a point of reading the novel before watching any screen adaptations, and I've never got round to Drummer Girl. Not sure when I will either...my reading list is far too long already.

OKB is a gem of a movie, with the underrated Neil Connery showing why he deserved a whole franchise of his own - and one actor after another from the official Bond series eclipsing their Eon roles in this tightly plotted thriller.

I've added votes for the Johnny English films as I discovered they were available on Sky Cinema and also to 39 Steps and Torn Curtain.
I've been rewatching a few of these classics on DVD* during lockdown: North by Northwest (an all-time favourite), To Catch a Thief, Guns of Navarone and Force 10, as well as Torn Curtain and the Matt Helm series which has had an airing on Sky. I've also recently rewatched The Ipcress File, though not Funeral in Berlin nor Billion Dollar Brain for quite a while.
(* I also managed to get hold of a recording of the 1979 series A Man Called Sloan, starring Robert Conrad, on DVD... sheer cheesy nostalgia value ) )
Not a massive fan of Austin Powers or Johnny English, nor The 2015 Man from UNCLE - it misses the heights of the original series by a country mile.
I haven't seen the OSS-117 films, are they anywhere near as good as Ok Connery / Operation Kid Brother?
Finally - is there no love for Our Man Flint / In Like Flint on this list?

Well, "To Catch A Thief" didn't do well at the AJB box-office, Higgins, but that's clearly due to a combination of factors- poor advertising campaign, competition, timing...
Well, it seems that this is the end of our groupwatchings.
I personally have cancelled 2 appointments to attend yesterday *and it seems that we can all agree on Bond, but the other fields don‘t hit the common interest of the board.
However, if someone wants to continue this, fell free to do, I am out

Nothing comes close to OK Connery...
The main appeal of the OSS117 movies is what the guy is doing with his eyebrows and often throws himself in a Connery pose. It‘s just hilarious.
Also the entire Vintage-trimming Of the settings and the locations of the Brazil Episode is worth watching.
