Bond going Japanese is in the novel- it plays strangely today, esp when they’re trying to make a 6’2” Scotsman into a typical Japanese. Of all the sequences in the novel to show on film, they pick this one?
Bond's "What about me?" Ironic, as his character is being lost in the movie.
Aki's lovely reaction shot when she thinks that it might be she who's going to be married to Bond... charming moment, reprised in the OHMSS title sequence.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.
