Moore improvised the line about Stacy's work uniform that "doesn't fit"
Bond's raciest lines often seem to be down to Roger's ad libs.
But yes... his American accent is lame...
I think the comment came after Tanya Roberts insisted on a costume that fitted her perfectly. Roger was getting impatient ans Roberts didn't like hsi ad lib.
Peter Lamont manages to evoke the effect of a Ken Adam set but the twist is it's rooted in a kind of reality (a working mine) rather than being an expressionist high tech fantasy set
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Roger Moore on Grace Jones (and I’m paraphrasing, don’t have time to look up the exact quote)-
I was always taught that if you can’t say anything nice about someone, say nothing. So I’m saying nothing.
Moore later said that he did not like the scene where Zorin kills his own men.
I remember thinking when this was first out that Zorin here was like a Michael Heseltine figure... this was at about the time that the Thatcher government ruthlessly took on the miners in the UK...

Indeed. Unfortunately, I can't think of a situation where James Bond would watch NHS workers being exploited to parallel what the Tories are currently doing.

I had one of those!
Two more machines that go ping!

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
