The sub-plot involving Heller and how "there's more to this than your personal vendetta".
The story is carefully thought about. Michael G Wilson was essentially doing the writing himself after Maibaum had to drop out because of the Writers' Guild strike. Maybe that works to the film's advantage?
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.
The blow-up doll scene isn't nearly as bad as the one in LALD, but cutting away from Krest and instead just shown the blood spalshing on the window would have been more effective.

I love this scene where Krest is squirming through an unconvincing explanation to Sanchez of what actually occurred. (He picked up from the sea one of the Colombian pilots. He should have got that guy to corroborate his account rather than turning to Lupe.)

Though he hasn't taken a credit, I'm sure that he's contributed to the scripts of every Bond film since.
Poor old Q gets stood down a couple of times, not just once. He looks quite sad about it. I'm so glad he was able to come back for the first three Brosnan films.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Poor Tim. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.
Oh, I was meaning more generally.
The whole strategy from Bond of divide and conqour is very good writing.
