I think he's saying "Laissez tomber" (?sp) (let it be)

Her sidekick is called Villiers. Villiers is mentioned in the novel but doesn't appear

Yes he is. It does sound close to "Listen to me!" though. Could confuse a lot of the audience.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Well I learned something new tonight. In over 20 viewings of the film it has never sounded like anything other than "listen to me" to me.

Machine that goes ping, M’s Sony Vaio.

I love Judi Dench’s performance in this film, even if Olivia Mansfield M is a Lady Macbeth character compared to Barbara Mawdsley. (Her Brozzer era version of M.)

“Bond... don’t ever break into my house again...”. Brilliant!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Fan service in the casting of Tsai Chin (YOLT) as Madam Wu.

M's home has a similar design aesthetic to her office in GE.

Mads Mikkelsen is one of the great Bond villans, but I wanted Vincent Cassel as Le Chiffre. I still think he would have been fantastic.

What happens one day when they want to hire a chief of SIS whose last name doesn't begin with M?

Blunt Instrument is definitely one of my favourite cues. The moment when the scene opens up on the Bahamas is absolute magic.

I always like that Bond was driving an 'ordinary' car. I had him at the wheel of a Skoda in one of my old fanfictions... :))

I won't go on about it, but Craig doesn't look particularly young here.

I think the Israeli secret services actually call their chiefs by the first letter of their names.

I think the Israeli secret services actually call their chiefs by the first letter of their names.

And the inspiration for 'M' was the real life 'C' - Sir Mansfield Smith Cumming.

Arnold gently evoking Barry in his low key 'spying/snooping' cues.

The Ocean Club receptionist is the hottest receptionist in any Bond film imho.
