These balloon-tired tricycles have to be some of the most ridiculous looking vehicles in any of the Bond movies. Especially when Sean Connery is the rider.
Would other fans have preferred that they just skip the stupid insert shot where the Mustang changes sides while performing the side-wheely in a narrow alleyway? I'd happily live with a continuity error in that scenario.
Connery's and Jill St John's comic expressions for the shot which fixes the wheelie continuity error are terrific. Making a virtue of necessity... brilliantly.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

This snooping about and gymnastics in “contemporary” black tie, classic Connery era Bond.
Won’t be this good again till Dalton blows up Sanchez’s bullet proof glass!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Black dinner jacket here following the white one he wore in the earlier Vegas scenes. No wonder he puts two massive suitcases into the hearse at Vegas airport. He must have packed everything.
I do like Ken Adam's penthouse set. Very much of its time, but most stylish. I particularly love the stainless steel elevator. Peter Lamont specifically mentions the steel tiles that were used in the 'Inside Diamonds Are Forever' doccie.
I love how this film just forgets OHMSS. But beneath the surface the violence is there: Connery WOULD have impaled one of the Blofelds with that spike if it had been a practical weapon.

One of the most tense and memorable scenes ever imho -{
Absolutely
My favourite Blofeld. Comic, cultured and camp but also cruel, duplicitous and bonkers.
