The blonde muscle guy who works for Renard and boards the sub with him... looks like the same stuntman who plays the Special Branch officer dropped from the roof by Craig in QOS?
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Actor and stuntman. He is in Titanic as the chief stoker too.
Several of Renard’s team were on the Devonshire in the last film too.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
Sophie gets to play all-out villainess here... great stuff. I like the idea that she believes herself to be irresistible/unlkillable. The scene prepares the way for the franchise to do the full-on torture scene in CR06 (with the DAD credits sequence as intermediary)

It’s M’s reaction that is the icing on the cake..... at that point Renards comments to her earlier hit home...

Sophie in that dress and with that hairstyle fleeing and gloating on the stairs. Very similar to Ingrid Pitt as the excitably evil vamp in Hammer's 'Vampire Lovers'.

I loved the glimpse of a smile when she stood up and ran away
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Oh, you noticed that? I love Hammer movies and Ingrid Pitt is superb!

Although all the action on the sub in the claustrophobic spaces, and with the water, is technically impressive and undoubtedly must have been very hard work... it does seem to me to be rather sub-Titanic (pun intended!)

Simon Crane was also on Titanic before working on TWINE as head of stunts. More than coincidental.

Brosnan shooting Sophie is as brutal as the thoroughly decent Cushing beheading Ingrid (though I may be mixing up 'Vampire Lovers' with 'Twins Of Evil'!)

Subs don’t fall apart like that do they?
Final machine that goes ping.... R’s Laptop....
Millennium Bug! Oh dear...

Arnold briefly 'quotes' the 'Capsule In Space' rearrangement from his 'Shaken And Stirred' album during his techno-inflected messing about with the Bond theme over the end credits.

For me Sophie Marceau is the film's clear strength... along with the PTS and main titles sequence. Brosnan has some good scenes, but is let down by occasional sagging in the movie.

Battery acid tastes shitzer!
No, it‘s the current when you put the tongue between the poles
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

They probably have no idea. Renard was prob going to lock himself into the reactor chamber. Cause the meltdown, and they would have been stuffed.

and one at the end.
Plus the torture chair scene
I'm convinced- Brosnan was a great Bond!
Yes, I know what you mean.
Denise's kiss for all the Bond-fan naysayers who pooh-pooh her TWINE performance?
