Crispt, they can’t even play the pipes right.
These are too shrill. The tone is wrong.

Oh, Thank Goodness for the Salmon water! You can tell they are not Scots.... passing out with no hugging, no shouting and no singing. (Shakes heid)
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Niven and Kerr were good friends, appearing in several movies together.

To those interested, Wasstling does not exist.

They could at least have used a real highland game.

That trumpet is getting on my nerves!

There's a whiff, in this part of the film, of the OHMSS stretch at Piz Gloria when Bond is disguised as Sir Hilary Bray. The bedroom shenanigans and the dinner gathering etc. Except again, Niven is more Sir Hilary than he is Bond.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Either Doogle, or Doodle. The diction is off.

    There goes Sandy’s back!

It seems like Wassail is about men playing with their balls

Plot?? Not sure you're in the right film if you're seeking a plot.

Deborah Kerr is having enormous fun with all this.

Didn't Gardner's 'Licence Renewed' have a Scots henchman called Caber or some such? Reminds me of these kilted heavies.

The score ends on a 'Bond chord' to bridge the interior and exterior grousing scenes. The only example in the film.

So far, this has mainly been a collection of scenes that should have been on the cutting room floor, labeled 'extraneous'. There's no plot, just a bunch of knee-bent running about.

They've started out the way they're going to carry on.

...and then the plot went BOOM!!!

The supercharged button homing kamikaze grenade grouse launching VW catapult tank!!

The babes operating the grouse missile installation are very much in the vein of Pussy Galore's Flying Circus.

Sir James has the gentlest possible manner of 'interrogating' Kerr's Agent Mimi.
