I posted this as a separate topic, but I was at my desk all morning, had a pair of the 007 Tanicus boots (size 9.5) in my cart and the website CRASHED. I was able to recover and get a 10, but the preferred size was gone. Hopefully they fit, but if there is anyone that is looking for a 10, looking to get rid of a 9.5 or some combination of that, I would be happy to talk business. Let me know!!!
I'm going to sound like a poor sport here because I wasn't successful, however... I understand limited edition, whether it's a product or concert tickets or whatever. What I don't understand are big companies whose website and/or ecommerce backend is so weak that it can't handle a new product launch. Granted, Danner probably haven't handled a product like this before, but I still don't understand why you wouldn't invest in a proper site and backend. Furthermore, I really don't understand the point of asking people to sign up for launch information and then either never send out any messages, or - in the event the email comes out later today - sending it out hours after the product has launched and sold out. It's just so amateurish.
Couldn’t agree more- I’m lucky that I got any but I like to wear these things and not have them be too big or small. Technical issues happen but to meet me with a giant “oh well” is not great. The 9.5s were in my cart and ordered when it all went to hell!!
I snagged a pair of 10.5s. Not sure if they'll fit or not. I was hoping for a 9.5 or 10 so I may be interested depending on how these fit. I've seen Danner comment to a couple of people on Instagram that these might run snug on some people.
Very poor from danner. Never received the email to say they are on sale and no stock anywhere. Can't find stockists in UK... Think they just released 1000 to get people hyped and will release more. Not a great idea from a customer point of view..just pisses you off
They told me on Instagram to sign up for their newsletter...I told them that I did that several weeks ago and have never received a single message, including not getting one about today's drop.

Well that was a waste of a morning. The site kept crashing and by the time I got in my size was sold out.

Same for me Domino. Except it's be a whole day wasted.
It also crashed whilst I was paying for a pair. By the time it reloaded, my size was out-of-stock. It's not been a good experience.
Side note: You gentlemen were correct in calling at 9 AM Portland time. 2 martinis for each of you! 🍸️🍸️
Never did get an email from Danner either.

I sent payment probably 10 times and eventually just got an error message. Finally it showed out of stock. So aggravated.
I have a sneaking suspicion more will pop up to meet demand. Eventually.
As has been mentioned, I couldn't care less about the licensed packaging, etc. Just stock a black Tanicus.

Just spoke with a Danner CS rep who said she has no info on a second run at this time. She added if they do, it'll be later on, whatever that means.
