Best original Bond book press

Hi All

Forgive me as I am sure this has been asked before but I cannot seem to find an answer in the forum section, I'm sure it's there somewhere.

Whether it's books or vinyl, having originals is quite important to me. However, I believe original 1st presses of the Bond novels is going to be quite difficult and expensive to achieve. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on books close to the 1st press that are perhaps achievable and still maintain some of that nostalgia.

Are there box sets that are generally considered to be collectable other than the 1st press

I recall David at the Bond Experience did a YouTube post about the woke censorship going in to recent publications so definitely keen to avoid those at all costs 😂

Happy to take on board all comments and advice, thanks all 🍸️

1st edition hardcovers will cost many thousands to complete a set, some of the later titles can usually be purchased for less than a thousand. though.

My suggestion would be to collect the early Pan paperback editions, great covers and original text.

Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
