I knew of several of these fellows. I think a few of them would make a good Bond. I’d love to see Chris Hemsworth as the next Q. Not joking. I think it would be awesome to have a non-nerdy fellow as the nerdy guy.

Callum Turner is a good age, good height, British. But not sure about his look (he looks better in pictures other than the one you selected ajb007/takecover) I think he's the type that will look better at 40 than he does now at 30. Just my opinion.

The way things are going the next Bond is probably around 14 years old right now. ajb007/insane
Regarding Henry Cavill, from everything I have been reading these days, it would appear that he will continue to be Superman which would more than likely eliminate him as Bond.

I used to be very much against James Norton as Bond, but now I like him as 007 more and more. He's only 35, so it's possible Bond26 get realeased before he turns 40.

Bond needs to convey presence and gravitas just by walking into a room. Hardy could do that all day long, but not just by walking into a room  or seen from a distance. Besides he cannot run the risk (as Daniel has done) of being eclipsed by his female co star. The 'optics' would just be wrong.

I’ve seen people over 7 feet tall walk into a room and hardly anyone noticed...height has nothing to do with ‘presence’...obviously I’m not advocating that Ronnie Corbett could have played Bond but I just don’t understand people’s fixation that Bond MUST be over 6 foot tall  ajb007/confused

Bond doesn't have to be over six feet tall, but it makes things easier and it gives the filmmaker more options. If Eon wanted to cast an actress like Famke Janssen (5' 11 1/2'') they would have to cast someone else or spend time and energy on tricks to hide the fact that she is taller. I'm convinced a range of good actors and actress have been ditched from Mission Impossible because they are too tall compared to Tom Cruise.

Height doesn't give you presence on its own, but it helps if you already have some presence.

There is a tradition/rule not to have the women being (or att least be shown to be) taller than the hero. My point is that casting a lead actor who isn't tall limits the number of actresses they will cast because casting tall actresses is at best difficult in that situation.
