sad to see Honour Blackman at the top of the page and Diana Rigg at the bottom...

Indeed, how sad it feels that my two favourite Bond ladies have passed on within the space of just a few months.

Sad to report the passing of art director Alan Tomkin. Alan worked on several Bond films including Dr. No, A View to A Kill and Casino Royale as well as A Bridge Too Far, The Empire Strikes Back, Memphis Belle, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Batman Begins and many more.

Another sad day.. ajb007/crap

Michael Lonsdale as Drax is one of my favourite villains. His delivery was perfect, a terrific actor.

Alan Tomkins was such a talent. Contributed greatly to some of the greatest films in cinematic history.

RIP

Just about to post about Michel Lonsdale in this thread and shocked to read about Alan Tomkins!

I’ve met him so many times over the years at shows and at Pinewood, a lovely, lovely man - God bless you Alan RIP.

Michael Lonsdale was in three very memorable spy movies: Munich, The Day of the Jackal and MR.
He will be sorely missed.

I also count Ronin in that group, I loved Mr. Londsdale's brief role, literally as a plot device as the sage who explains the concept of the Ronin.

Edgar Wright posted on his twitter, that Margaret Nolan has died. She was well known to Bond fans for playing Dink in Goldfinger. She was also the model in Robert Brownjohn's title sequence.

RIP,Margaret.
