Re: Budget Bond Collectors Resource

Do you guys know if there's an alternative for a cocktail cuff shirt to the TF one? (No T&A or Mason & Sons)

Re: Budget Bond Collectors Resource

I've bought a blue and white from this company and have had good luck

Re: Budget Bond Collectors Resource

Was it ready to wear or customized? BTW many thanks for the suggestion.
If anyone else knows other brands please let me know

Re: Budget Bond Collectors Resource

Well, you send in your measurements (or measurements from a shirt that fits you well) and they produce the shirt, so it is not exactly off the rack but it is certainly ready to wear and my fit was really good.

For anyone that missed out on the RoyaleFilmwear Ivory Cardigan, Spier&Mackay just launched their pre-order for a similar cream cardigan https://www.spierandmackay.com/product/ … am-cky-cdn

Sure thing! I've ordered the Dark Brown myself and look forward to pairing it with the new Moltons.

I'm digging the moss green as well, didn't DC wear a green one similar for an interview or something not that long ago?  I had recently ordered something similar from Gap but when it came I was completely disappointed with it.  This one looks very nice.

Correct - he wore the Rag & Bone Avery Cardigan in Army Green. If you want something closer to that color, check out Kent Wang's offerings https://www.kentwang.com/outerwear/shaw … green.html

What's great about their knits is that you have the option to customize the sleeve and overall length as well as select more color options.

Hope this helps you with your decision!

Are people still interested in budget alternatives, including for older movies?

Here are some I just found from Mango:

Was on a Jet2 flight last week and came across this Sekonda watch in the in flight magazine which I thought was a decent cheap alternative to the Omega. I can’t seem to find any info about it online though?

This is certainly a brand associated to the flight company......

Re: Budget Bond Collectors Resource

Has anyone found a decent alternative to the NTTD Nato strap? All the ones I’ve seen for some reason are a bit wavey on the stripes. Also, it seems like Omega isnt selling that strap separate or do they just wait to release them for sale later?

Sekondas are available across the UK rather than being just associated to a flight company - "Sekonda maintained the role of the UK’s number one watch brand for 31 consecutive years." I can't find anything about that particular watch though - good luck, it looks like a great affordable alternative to the Omega  ajb007/martini

I know the jury is still very much out as far as the boots he wears in his garage with most thinking they are some style of Palladium Boots, I have never had any Palladium's  and found these on ebay for what I thought was a great price.  Thought I'd pass it along in case anyone else is interested.

I've had Palladium boots for years for outdoors type stuff. Good value for money, comfortable and grippy in the wet.  Sure I heard the French Armed Forces use them for marine and jungle work etc.

On Sekonda as a brand - they were one of the original Russian brands made at the 1st Moscow Watch Factory along with Pobeda.  The brand name was bought by a British firm (in the 80s maybe), and they've made decent value, but cheap, quartz watches ever since.  If you look on eBay you will find mechanical Sekonda watches from Soviet times - they look great and are affordable, but will often require servicing or some repair work - good watches though, if you like that sort of thing and aren't put off by the effort you need to put in.

Are there any good Neil Barrett trouser alternatives? A lot of the old recommendation links are dead now.
