Yes those are the pampa hi ESS, I bought the mahogany version, the pants did not sit properly with the tap sticking out back, so I went with the Lux. In any case the chocolate color can be found in both models lux and hi, can’t go wrong with either one, you will get the look.

Actually now my guess would be these:

    https://palladiumboots.co.uk/collections/high-tops-mens/products/76887-257-m

    As they are the "originals"

    Pampa-Leather-Ess.png

So these models, the 76689-819 and the 76887-257-M are one and the same?! Both called mahogany despite looking lighter or darker depending on the picture?! :s

Yes I believe the 76689-819 are the model Hi in mahogany which I purchased and posted pictures, I like them but the color does not match well in my opinion, the 76887-257-M seems to be a new addition to the UK website, but appears to be a much darker brown, very similar to the chocolate color. What kept me from leaning towards that model was the eyelets do not look metallic, and I could not get the pull tap to extend out of the back of the boot with cuffed pants. The pant cuff would make the pull tap lay flat. Again it’s all conjecture at this point.

I’m 99% sure it’s a palladium boot either hi model or lux model in some sort of dark brown colorway with metallic or brass eyelets. Just wish we had more pictures.

Lastly I found an old model from around 2016-2018, it is a sunshine/chocolate color way, in a lux model called PAMPA HI CUFF LEATHER PALLADIUM MENS RETRO BOOTS R. Obviously sold out, but it’s also another possibility

Best of luck in your decisions!

    Hey everybody,

What are your thoughts on DC’s suit fits in NTTD? A bit too tight ala Skyfall? I can’t quite tell, since the shoulder looks clean in the pic below, but it looks like there’s pulling along the arm (from being too tight?).

    66-A59-E5-A-B5-B4-4918-91-BF-6-DF1-CFB4069-F.jpg

Or should it look closer to this (from Mr. P):

    57-DCFAED-D3-A8-4-F27-B876-947-B92-A53182.png

These are both O’Connor fits. The fit in the second photo looks a bit looser than DC’s.

If you use the code "15FORYOU" on Palladium's site you'll get 15% off. I was trying to buy a pair but they don't ship to the US. But I saw that and figured people here could use it.

I like those alot and they seem closer than the taupe, but who knows, the lighting in the photo might make whatever color is look like something else. I know these are not screen accurate but I liked the look and the ebay price was quite nice!

Blackwell rum is so good that I even enjoy drinking it neat, not something I can say about any other rums!

I maybe wrong but it seems the rum is the same and they are charging £10 extra for the bottle.

Connolly has now two "inspired by" Giubbinos in stock, a wool and a corduroy version for colder weather

    https://www.connollyengland.com/products/reversible-corduroy-guibbino-navy-grey

    https://www.connollyengland.com/products/double-face-guibbino-navy-grey

has someone who has ordered the Connolly-Shirt become a confirmation? I was on the list and they told me to send the money but I haven't heart nothing from them since then

Yes.. took a couple emails and an instagram message to chase them down, then I got a reply with confirmation they got the payment. Not the smoothest experience, but hopefully the rest of the process (production and shipping) will go smoother..

Am I going mad or do these look like *another* pair of sunglasses? They don't look round...

Yes, the waxed cap would seem like the perfect choice given the jacket. But the mouth at the back is too small and the strap too broad for any of the Barbour caps I could see. DC might have a funny shaped head or it could be a tailored Barbour...

the sunglasses (and the shirt) are still a mystery to me. On the production photos in Norway, it actually looks like the Vuarnet Edge 1613 (Gliders), but the glasses here look more like the Vuarnet 1615, I actually wanted to contact Vuarnet whether they provided the 1615 also, but I had always forgotten it
    Vuarnet.pngVuarnet2.jpg

They look much more suitable for everyday use than the 1613 in my eyes
    3.jpg

I'm pretty certain the shirt is the Connolly Finnamore.

In terms of the sunglasses, I decided to buy the 1615s after trying the round ones (which made me look ridiculous). The 1615s are simply badass. They have everything great about the 1613s but in a style you can actually wear. Only Bond obsessives will notice that they're "wrong." You'll probably look a lot better, though, than if you went with the round ones. Few faces can pull those off. Craig barely does IMO.

Could those sunglasses possibly be the Barton Perreira Courtier?

My standard Joes just arrived! So glad that I held out for the non-branded version. And I can't thank the guys from Chakshu for sorting them out.

Anyone received Standard Joe sunglasses from Chakshu yet? I preordered in December and their website still says Expected August 20!

I preordered the Standard Joes from them too and havent received mine yet so I contacted Chakshu last week ans asked if they have any information, this was their response:

"Yes, we have heard from them! The Barton Perreira Sales Director informed us that the sunglasses left from the US to Italy last Friday. They will need to go through customs, which can take a week or so. Once they have them in the warehouse in Italy, we generally will receive them within a week. We are very hopeful that we will have them soon.

We are so sorry you have been waiting for so long! Due to Covid-19 the factories in Japan were working at a reduced capacity, so there was a delay in Barton Perreira receiving them."

Fingers crossed for shipping before Christmas

Yes- as far as I'm aware. I just couldn't bring myself to have the 007 logo, however discrete, on a pair of sunglasses. So I'm so glad that Barton Perreira agreed to make more in standard guise for us sticklers!

Hello all, to save me trawling through the threads, has the weapon belt Bond wears with the N Peal woolly pully been identified yet? I seem to recall the thigh weapon holster was ID’d, is this the same manufacturer? Thanks in advance!

Hi all i just wondered other than David (Bond Experience) has anyone else got the bag. If so how are they getting on with it, my concern is the bag big enough for me to travel to a military base for a course lasting 2 weeks. Need uniform which will go in the suit bag, then my Naval jumper, shoes, sports kit including trainers wash bag, towel and some t shirts. Any reviews will be greatly appreciated.

I have this bag, and I think it would be a bit small for two weeks, unless you're planning on doing laundry a few times. I can pack a suit, shoes, shirts, dopp kit, trousers, blouson, to last at most 5 days.

No. It’s too small. It’s actually not that useful and tries to fit a niche that isn’t really there. Exceptionally well made and a concept that appears very useful at first glance. But when travelling, your suit gets the brunt of the knocks and drops and is a crease magnet as it isn’t kept as stabile as it would be inside a garment bag, suitcase, or even correctly folded inside a weekend bag. Bit of a gimmick really, OK for a casual wool blazer or sports jacket, but it’s really awful for a suit or jacket that creases easily.
