I was born in 1957 and my first Bond film in a theater was Goldfinger in '64. I then played catch-up with a re-release double feature of DN and FRWL then on to TB and every single subsequent Bond thereafter.
The news of Sean Connery passing was quite jarring as he will always be my Bond. Connery brought an unmatched charisma and screen presence to Bond. The impression that Connery's Bond made on me as a youngster was indelible and lifelong as my passion for the Bond films has stayed with me through my whole life. IMO, the greatest Bond, who's talent and charisma continued well beyond the Bond films. No matter what role, what film, when Connery appeared on screen, everyone else appeared to shrink. We are blessed that he will live on forever as Bond and in all the other films he did. Rest in peace my 007.

I was born between Bonds in 1969, so I get the best of both Sean Connery - who had featured in YOLT - and George Lazenby - who was still filming OHMSS.
It's like having a favourite uncle and a step dad.

Born in between FRWL and GF. Weird to think that the eroticism codified by the first Bond films was part of an increasingly swinging pop culture in which my parents were young people at the time I was conceived!

DAF was my first Bond film in the cinema, soon followed by a series of Connery-Bond double bills. For me, news of Sir Sean's sad passing means the loss of my childhood matinee idol.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

I was born in '64, the year of Goldfinger, and watching DAF in the cinema - my first brush with. 007 - was the seminal moment in my life, sparking a lifelong love for Bond. I nagged my sister to take me to see all the double-bills of the Connery Bonds which were subsequently re-released in the early '70s.

Those who were born in 1983, the year Connery made a comeback in NSNA, does not count!

I was born on the day when Mei Hama and Sean Connery filmed their scenes on the top of a real volcano in Kyushu, Japan.

Technically, Timothy Dalton, was, I guess. I was born in between Licence To Kill and Goldeneye.

    I admire the precision here!

I cant do it like this, since filming of You Only Live Twice did not begin til July 1966, and whatever Connery was doing the day I was born, its unlikely he was playing James Bond. Maybe arguing for more pay but not in character.

Actually Casino Royale began filming January 1966, so depending on how the chaos unfolded, the day I was born James Bond could have been played by David Niven, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, Joanna Pettet, Daliah Lavi, Woody Allen, Barbara Bouchet, and/or Terence Cooper. I hope it was Woody.

I was born in 1980, during Roger's tenure. While growing up the Connery and Moore films were frequently on TV. My first memory of a Bond film is Jill covered in gold paint in Goldfinger. I was young enough to be scared by the image.

The first time I was aware of a new Bond film's release was with Licence to Kill. A long family vacation and house-move prevented us from seeing it in theaters, but eventually my Dad rented it on VHS. It's the first Bond movie I remember as a complete film, rather than bits and pieces on TV. It's still one of my favorite Bonds. Nostalgia undoubtedly plays a part, but as a kid I also really liked Diamonds Are Forever and A View to a Kill while as an adult I like them much less.

Since I was born in October the Bond film closest to my birth is For Your Eyes Only, which I've always liked highly for other reasons (primarily for featuring Moore's best performance as Bond and temporarily freeing the series from excess and self-parody).

The first Bond I saw in a theater was GoldenEye. I liked it but by then I was 15 and old-enough to have pre-conceptions about Bond. I had read all of Fleming and missed Dalton, who in mind came closest to the literary 007.

I was born in 2003, a year after DAD, so I'm guessing Brosnan.
