Dear all,

i am willing to part with my Crockett and Jones Islay boots in size 44 EU /9 - 9.5 UK. They are unworn and (are/were) part of my collection, as you can see on the photos. I paid 595 € and as they are unworn, I would be happy with 500 € plus shipping depending on the location (shipping from Germany). Let me know if you need more pictures.

Great deal.. I just bought some in the US and they are a lot more $$$.

The 9.5UK is roughly equivalent to 11.5/12US.. this is the size I got. GLWS!

Are you sure about that sizing conversion?

Yeah that doesn’t seem right. I would think a 9.5UK would be more like a 10.5/11US.

I'm 11.5 US and my 10UK Islays are pretty roomy. But I also have narrow feet which complicates it a little.

My chukka boots from Timberland are a US 9.5 which according to Kevin at the Crockett & Jones NYC location translates to a UK 9 for the Molton's, Islay and Skye III.

I am a narrow 12US in dress shoes, and wearing 9.5UK Islays right now actually, so yes. If you have wider feet you might wear slightly larger.

Kevin is very knowledgeable, but I suggest trying them on. Molton I am a 9.5 or 10 as well.. tried them on in the store last week. The last, and width of your foot will make a difference.

I can second that the conversion can be a tad tricky from US-UK and last to last. I personally wasnt able to try on before buying and found out the hard way paying shipping/return a time or two, but I am sure glad I did because they are fantastic. I did tons of research but still kinda missed on my initial fit. Could be diff for others but for me personally the biggest thing to note is how the top of the foot feels bc there will be a little room in the toes but going between sizes it is a much better trade off than having it annihilate your circulation being too snug on the top of your foot if you are concentrating on the length. Just my two cents. Hope that helps!

Yes...after doing some research myself, i think 44 EU equals more a 9.5/10 UK sizing. Dunno about the US conversion, however it seems UK/EU conversion accuracy is better.
