Hello, do you have any?If yes which ones and at what price? Thank you in advance for your answer, have a nice day
Just a quick update to thank the 20 people who are now the proud owners of a set of Bond plaques for buying them and helping me to raise over £1000 for a variety of charities. Greatly appreciated by myself and them and all worthy causes. Thank you all and enjoy your plaques.

Just had confirmation from BetG that the large £1000s with lunettes were made at the same time as the other Bond plaques (April 1961) and that the smaller ones were made in 1974.
Also, according to an article, there were £35000 in value delivered to the film company from the Casino which indicates that there were probably £1000s sent too. Mind you I can only see about £10k on Bond's table and none on the other 2, hmm.
The only thing left to find out are which serials were used but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I saw the edge of them so thanks for the full picture. Wonder what numbers they are and if they were obtained from somebody who bought from me (only 3 people I can think of could do that group) or if somewhere else.

Just a quick thank you to all that purchased any of the plaques and chips that I offered and I hope you are all still pleased with them. I am taking a break from them for now so the ones on ebay at the moment should be the last offered until I go through what I have left. I expect I will relist some when the new movie comes out and probably for the 60th anniversary of Dr No. Again, my thanks go out to all buyers as I enjoyed filling a large gap in the Bond props era for a few of you.

It'd be silly not to "bump" this today of all days, sorry.
Still some on ebay if anybody is interested.
A £10 plaque must be worth £45 of anybody's money......................
    Have a great day everybody.

I'm glad that (almost) everyone have been pleased with them and seemed to have kept them for themselves which is what I'd hoped would happen. I know that many will not leave their collections for a long, long time if at all.

I knew that I was way underpricing them but the most important thing to me was that they would be cherished and admired for many years to come by as many fans as possible and (importantly) not cost the earth. Yes, I knew that I could have made 10/20 times what I have but I felt that the right way to treat these was to make them affordable to as many as possible and I'd prefer to sell low and see prices go up rather than to have sold a handful of sets at ridiculous prices and then to have disgruntled original buyers see them go for less later on, I hate it when that happens to me so I tried to do (what I thought) was the right thing. Altruistic or just plain old stupid?

I know that most of the ones I have sold now have the pride of place in many Bond collections and that had been my aim so at least I can die happy knowing I helped fulfil a few people's dreams in being able to own a set (or even 1 of) and not done what many others may have by just letting the odd set out to keep the prices too high for the "average" collector and make a fortune. Money was never the top priority and doesn't make the "real" world go round. I can live with myself because of that although it may just be on beans on toast in my twilight years, haha.

I've also had the thrill of seeing how pleased people have been after every sale and if others do decide (or have to) sell on then good luck to them as long as they stick to the facts and don't change them enough to possibly fool people into thinking they were definitely from the film set as nobody knows, which has happened I'm sorry to say. Another main reason for making sure as many people as possible knew the story behind them so that wouldn't happen, it almost worked.

Sorry to go on but I just wanted to let people know that I appreciate the sales, comments and feedback from happy buyers one last time and hope that you all keep enjoying them. Take care and thanks again.

"Taken from the set of Dr No"!! Really?

Considering the £5 isn't seen and there were only 2 £1 jetons, I'd say it was pretty unlikely (especially since they originated from me) but then most of the plaques that have been listed with the main auction houses have been economical with the truth, to say the least.

I'd love to see what rubbish the COA has to say as it's from a reputable authenticator although personally, I'd think his credibility has gone down a notch. I have emailed them twice to try to correct the "errors" in the listing so let's see if they bother to get back to me.

I don't know who the seller is, but if they read this post, I encourage them to amend their auction listing.

They won't have a chance now as the lot has been withdrawn.
