    How'd you find that? Is it a small?

    Amazed at your ability to procure Belstaff items, CRB. -{

    I believe you are a 42uk. What size is it? Could you give the dimensions?

    On filmjackets a while back there was a comparison of the black with another color. Could you do the same? How does the construction compare?

    I think I just have a weird ability to remember who owns what. And with the Pattersons I remember a few.

    I'm a 42 myself yes (more like a 41 I expect) but my Summer Patterson (blackbrown) is an XL and my winer Patterson (Acid Brown) is an XXL. This one's a Small - and is the exact jacket you saw on filmjackets.com - I am merely facilitating the sale of the previous owner to a board member here. Not my sale at all, but it did go for a pretty penny I can tell you ! Just thought I'd share photos as I would a fair wage that it might the the very last Patterson with original tags intact in the world. It still has the brand new Belstaff leather smell !

    Any idea CRB if the black was produced in the biggers sizes like the brown e.g XXL / XXXL

    Thanks CRB.

    So does the sizing of the Black mean you'd need an XL or XXL?
  • CRBCRB Posts: 483MI6 Agent
    If I had a black it would be an XL for me as the black is the summer version.

    The Blacks I've seen are S, L and XL but that doesn't mean there isn't an XXL out there somewhere. Probably lies in the hands of someone who has no idea how rare it is.

    These are great jackets, so someone is very lucky. Hope the tags come off and it gets some wear. {[]

    Congrats to Gagonen... I have the light brown one in Small and have been looking for the black version in Small for days....

    I recently stopped by the Belstaff Boutique on a business trip to NYC to discuss a reproduction of this jacket with the VP of Merchandising... as of now the project is a go for 2018!

    I will put up a thread when more details are communicated from Belstaff to me.... I will then gauge headcount to see who is interested and in what size.

    Its a no brainer to order a black one. I'm using the summer weight brown alot.

    Guys, they can't reproduce it, they are not legally allowed. The best they could do is offer something similar. But it will have a different design, different leather, different poppers, different labels and badges. And besides it would be 2019 before they could even thinking if getting something to market...

    Just picked up this one.

    Pretty excited, a member on filmjackets was parting with it. Apparently wore it a couple times.

    Well, tried it on today and it fits perfectly. Sleeves a tad long but that isnt the end of the world.

    Good luck to anyone else looking for one -{

    Hello, new member here
    I just had a quick question
    I am the current owner of a Belstaff Patterson color black size XL
    The jacket is currently too small on me but Im planning on losing weight
    I was just curious if the XL's are considered desirable? I noticed the size L is mentioned a lot here
    I'm thinking if I cant lose the weight Ill sell the jacket
    And lastly is there an approx price these are selling at?

    Thank you

    Whoever purchased this (if it was someone here) got it for a good deal. I've been noticing that Belstaff jackets from the Malenotti era are being priced well on the secondary market, but the prices seem to be dropping for most of the jackets. They range now from $150-800. Even the highly sought after (or at least used to be) Hero jacket (bison winter version) from War of the Worlds isn't fetching the high prices it used to.
    There was a brown Patterson a month or two ago on ebay that sold for around $200. It had some repairs done, and oil marks on the collar (which happens with most brown leather jacket) but overall it was in great condition.
