My wife (who will not watch James Bond) has been on night duties all week. I have been at home. ITV4 James Bond films every evening. Last night Thunderball. Apart from the speeded up boat footage and comedy parts of the cabin fight scene (where Bond is being held and Largo is punching him) a good film.

A good film made better by the actress who played Fiona Volpe!

You should try - 20 celsius (- 4 Fahrenheit I think). I have many times, but not where I live now. That's so cold you can take a bucket of warm water outside and throw the water up in the air, it freezes before it hits the ground. 

Not here either, it never happens on the south coast. But there was national service in the north, work in a couple of very cold villages  and a new years with friends in Lillehammer...

If anyone thinks everything is calm and boring in Norwegian politics I have news for you!
Today the partner of the former Minister of Justice got one year and eight months in jail for endangering democracy and for arsony. Back when it all happened her partner was minister (he resigned when the police arrested her) and there were several threats made against the couple, graffiti painted on their car and house and the car was set fire to. The police and the court now believe she did it herself to make political oponents (especially a tiny independent theatre she really disliked) look guilty. So, we sometimes have crazy poltics!   

The Child Protection Services sometimes legally remove children from their parents to protect the children. It happens the Child Protection Service is wrong, but they never profit from it.

The Philippines was hailed as the second most “Instagrammable” — or very appealing to photographed and shared on the social media site Instagram—place in the world in 2021, by a global travel website.

In its list released Thursday, travel website Big 7 Travel said that the Philippines was “home to incredible natural wonders like an underground river and tranquil rice terraces in addition to a vibrant culture and history spanning several millennia.”

“From the bustling capital of Manila complete with colorful colonial streets to the absolute oasis of Boracay, the gram opportunities here are endless,” the website added.

“The Department of Tourism (DOT) celebrates the inclusion of the Philippines in the Most Instagrammable Places in the World list of the renowned travel website Big 7 Travel for the year 2021,” the DOT said.

I’m very proud to live here, as far as I’m concerned there is nowhere better.
