FS: LVC Menlo. Small. Black. NWT

Selling my rare LVC Menlo is size small, color black. I’m aware Bond wore brown in Skyfall, but in some scenes it appears black. Beautiful jacket. Unworn. I’m looking to get what I paid for it. 1,600 euros shipped. Sounds like a lot but it’s a rare jacket and I paid 1,400 for it. So after fees and shipping I’d be breaking even. I personally haven’t seen a size small black show up. Which is why I’ve put off selling it while not wearing it.

    The black versions were less distressed than the brown versions. The black version is incredibly rare, as not only were there more browns made, but several versions of it. If you google LVC Menlo black or even the hashtag on Instagram #lvcmenlo you’ll see more black versions. Beautiful jacket. Which is why it sold so quickly. Haha

    I had a black one before I had the brown one. Sold it some years ago. It was on the whole less distressed but at the same time the yoke was almost peeling, like a sunburn.

    There were some odd versions out there.

    It’s actually still available. Buyer’s payment didn’t go through. I should have waited until after payment to request closing. Ha. Amazing jacket. Open to offers, but very reasonable ones as at the current price I’m breaking even. Anything more is loss.

    I never wore it enough to experience any peeling, but I own several sheepskins that look like skin would flake off, but it doesn’t. A bit like fish scales. I see what you mean.

    Mine is the same jacket as in the photos below. Though, not my photos. Just so you can see pics of a different black Menlo in different lighting.

    Wow, some of those are quite the choice! I guess that two-tone one is trying for a particular 30s look?

    I owned one of these in black as well. Got it for a steal from Mr Porter, who seemed to have been one of the few online retailers for the black version. Sold it off as new some time ago though as I always grabbed my brown version instead. It must not have been a big seller because Mr. Porter had a large stock of them when it came time for their "further reduced" sale. I never understood why as it's a beautiful jacket! Like HalfMonkHalfHitman, these pics are making me miss mine now too. Good luck with the sale!

    Yea I think because Craig wore brown, naturally it went first. It is a beautiful jacket! It’s a win win for me. If it doesn’t sell then it’s a sign I should just start wearing it. Thanks!
