I've added asio's poll as I thought it would make for an interesting one.
Is there an option for users to post polls in their posts? I'd really like to do that, you can on Cbn if you're an administrator. Can we?

No there isn't, not at the moment, I plan to make it possible, but it is very unlikely that anyone will be allowed to post them. I will see how it goes and how it's used. I can see it being over used and abused.

    How about this one?:
"Most worthy 007 contenders not to land the role"
    1960's - Cary Grant
    1970's - Michael Billington
    1980's - Sam Neill
    1990's - Liam Neeson
    2000's - Clive Owen

I like this, though I'm split between Cary Grant and Sam Neill. I'll go with Neill, though. It's funny; I used to say often how Sam Neill should have played James Bond. Little did I know at the time that he was infact strongly considered!

    I wouldn't abuse it! I promise!

    Or how about this poll:

    Most AVTAK-obsessed member.

Asio's post about 007 contender is an interesting one!

We could do the next one on favourite Bond vehicles perhaps.

Perhaps another possible poll would be something directly related to AJB. "Favorite Forum" or "Most informative forum" or something like that. Not as 'fun' I admit, but it might be helpful in gaining some insight into different areas on AJB.

Or a poll on Most AVTAK Obsessed Fan...

Yeah, polls involving members of AJB would be good too!

Yeah, polls involving members of AJB would be good too!

Oh Lord. . . 8-) I can see them now: "Favorite Member," "Least Favorite Mod," "Member Who Should Be Banned," "Member Who Writes the Most Annoying Posts". . . Sounds like suicide to me!

Sounds great to me, Hardy! Hilarious! As long as I'm not the member with the annoying posts or the member who should be banned, that is... :v

Hmm... except for Least Favorite Mod, I think I'm up for all those categories! ;)

    Thanks SiCo.
I found this a difficult poll to create, because I only wanted to have the very best un-signed candidate from each decade.
In case you're wondering (and even if you're not), I voted for Michael Billington, based purely on the number of times he auditioned for the role.

Hardy, don't worry, you're not my least favorite mod but honestly, one of these (but in a more positive light) should be put into a poll. Members who KNOW they write annoying posts (like I do) should be included.

I could sense the fear, in that post. Hardy's convinced he'd earn the title in a flash!

No I wouldn't give it to Hardy... not Hardy...

I'm unsure if this Poll Question has been asked before, but what about:

    Favourite 007 Author?
    Ian Fleming
    Kingsley Amis
    Christopher Wood
    John Gardner
    Raymond Benson
    Charlie Higson

Sure, Ian Fleming would most likely win by a country mile, but it may be interesting to see in what position the rest of the field end up.

Well, not surprisingly all the votes (3 so far) have gone Mr Fleming's way. It will be interesting to see if there are any votes for the other authors.

    Somebody's gotta' say it:

This is the most pointless poll AJB has ever seen.

Haha, it's as bad as Lois Maxwell Vs Caroline Bliss.

14 votes, all to Fleming so far.
I've noticed something; I'm allowed to vote twice on each poll.... :s

If this is the case, then I demand a recount! It's going to be Florida 2000 here on AJB! :))

Yes, the "fav author" poll is going exactly as I suspected it would, so here is another poll suggestion (please disregard it if it has already been done):

    Favourite 007 Director?
    Terence Young
    Peter Hunt
    Lewis Gilbert
    John Glen
    Martin Campbell

I'll throw this one out too as it sparks my curiousity:

Favorite Composer (Excluding John Barry, who would undeniably be the winner):

    Monty Norman
    Geroge Martin
    Marvin Hamlisch
    Bill Conti
    Michael Kamen
    Eric Serra
    David Arnold

What about favorite decade for films?
    50's
    6o's
    70's
    80's
    90's
    2000's

(My prediction is that the 60's will come out on top but who knows? ;) )

I just voted on the new poll about the Casino Royale teaser trailer. I voted for brilliant however I wanted to note that I actually think the trailer was instead very good. Basically, what I'm saying is that if there was an option between Brilliant and Ok, I would have voted for it. ;)

That's the whole point! :D If there were a category below brilliant, I woud have voted for it. However, it was a very good trailer and if the film is as good as the trailer, I'll be happy. ;)

Yeah, good poll. Pity Guy Hamilton is not included as I would probably have voted for him. Within these five, Terence Young is my favourite. For my favourite all round it would probably be a very close choice between Hamilton and Young.

I agree with Golrush. Hamilton is really my favourite 007 director, however of those listed, Terence Young is my preferred director. (Truthfully however I like them both the same, but if I had to pick, I would choose Hamilton.)

Si, is the reason that the list didn't include Hamilton is that there is a fair chance that he would take all the votes?

Right I've added him and reset the poll so please vote again.

The reason he wasn't included is that I simply copied Asios list and didn't think about it!
