Not much barrell length, but the butt is considerably shorter, which is where it counts in a concealment piece. Very comfortable to shoot, so much so than the excellent Glock 26. I just wish they'd get rid of the sight rails, ther is no need for those in a pistol designed fo deep hideaway.
Apart from that it would be a cool looking gun, the width of the butt is so small, you wonder where the ten rounds go. Very light, and recoil is less obvious than the G26. I'm all for it. Even over this beautiful piece of workmanship:

I'm surprised you'd choose it over an ASP. How would you choose to holster the P99C?
I can't wait to get to the next page either, so I don't have to stare at every gun glamour shot. I think it was sniperUK who wanted to have me tell him a quick history of the Rangers. The Rangers go back as early as the French and Indian wars, being known held to only as 'well experienced scouts and soldiers' of the like. However, the rangers were first formed in WW2, in June of 1942, then were demobilized at the end of the war. Reformed in Korea, and then post Korea, they were again disbanded. In Vietnam, independent ranger companies were formed. They performed LRRP missions, that means LONG RANGE RECON PATROLS. Following Vietnam, the Army decided a standing Ranger force was needed and formed the 1st and 2nd Battalions on the east and west coasts respectively. 2nd was at Ft. Lewis Washington, and 1st was at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA. BTW, you need to think more holistically on the service of the Navy Cross, because after seeing places that had extensive problems and worldly issues that really had nothing to do with me, they awarded this medal to me as a sort of 'going away' medal, and for several acts, and for outstanding service, it was given for participation a few private things in service, as more of a gift upon leaving the army, there goes a story and a lineage to it, more than just front and center, and present arms, although half of you wouldn't know what that means, you can study military history all you want, but there's no substitute for actually being there, unlike the toothless masses of extinct minds of this thread layering themselves in week old mayonnaise frolicking about the almighty power of the textbook and AskJeeves. Since you all wanted to know about my Navy Cross, I'll tell you, one of my friends and a Senior officer who aspired to higher ranks than anyone of you pukes, that I met who served in the Navy heard of me getting my DD-214 and caught up with me before, he had been like a mentor to me after I joined, and he was in charge of me for some time upon a brief stint on an AC. The day that I was discharged, and ready to go back home, he met up with me, and told me I deserved some recognition of military service beyond what brass I had, and he took off his Navy Cross from his Service Dress Uniform and pinned it to my jacket, and saluted me. Since there is no 'official document' available, you cannot recognize it by due power of the President, but you can recognize it as a medal given to me by a superior for actions taken and exemplary service, so I normally don't admit that story about my Cross, because people such as yourselves would conjure up a certain visage that it "was not worth it's salt", however, I consider it an honour to wear. Sight rail or equipment rail, is the groove in front of the triggerguard, they are useful on full size autos, but a bit unnecessary on a sub-compact. I'd like to see how it performs from Ken Nulls UNS. Should be a good combo.
The P99c and ASP are both excellent pistols for the purpose, the ASP is overall slimmer and easier to conceal. The P99c is still a very fat handgun, but with the 10 rd mag, there has to be some compromise. I still think the ASP looks better, and the ASP 2000 better than that... shame it was designed by a stiff assed Brit that has never seen a handgun in his life 8-)
The Navy Cross is second only to the Medal of Honor,if what you say is true you have no entitlement to wear it, if you do sir you are a cnut of the first order who disrespects every serviceman awarded it .Rogers Rangers in the French and Indian Wars were part of the British army.The Rangers changed to the tan beret around three years ago,do you know why the colour was picked? its because the then OC of the Rangers had served a tour with 22SAS so the colour was picked to closely match their sand ones.Yes I know about the Ranger Induction Programme,the Rangers are an excellent military unit probably one of the best light infantry units in the world but there is something that was told to every American serviceman arriving in Europe,
1, Do not try to out drink a Brit

Oh and by the way where I live we can still own handguns at present I dont have any but I still have two rifles ,on mainland UK private hand guns are banned but most rifles and shotguns are not.As a police officer in Northern Ireland I carried handguns as stated before ,I also carried at various times the M1 Carbine,Sterling sub-machine gun,SLR,Ruger AC556,Hk MP5,HK 33 and G3 and FRG and HK baton guns both of which I have used in riots.Though I have been shot at many times thankfuly I never had to use a weapon in anger as we had the discipline not to fire unless we had a confirmed target.I hope you do dissappear preferably up you own ar****le as that where you belong.

Listen, to all whom read this, I realize that this thread is way out of control, partially due to my influence. You don't know this, but being a Ranger sets you apart from every other 11B or Marine or redcoat, the masses shoved together all alike, the Rangers are the deadliest, most feared men of the armed forces, hands down. I’d rather fight fifty hoodlums than two Rangers, because Rangers are taught the best hand-to-hand combat, and when applied, causes excessive pain, for instance, I can take any person, and make them dance with my thumb, learned that from Ranger school, we have been driven to limits and beyond them, we were broken in RIP and remodeled, more than remodeled, we were recreated, because RANGERS LEAD THE WAY! HOAH! I will no longer be a part of this immature sick representation on threads that show indicative relations to James Bond, and otherwise, I apologize to anyone whom stumbles on this and sees what an ignorant fool these people are. The people on the thread does not resemble James Bond in any way, and shows a complete lack of professionalism on all counts, even my mistake of the 7.65/.380, and for that confusion I do apologize, but I do not apologize to the morons whom post before and after me on this thread. I think they are absolutely ruining a thread used for opinionated purposes, and I have better things to do than to sit down and continue fighting dumb hordes of uselessness people trying to get tricky and act like jerks, their behavior is not warranted, called for or necessary, and I am leaving this forum because of it. If I were posting on this forum, I would completely ignore their posts, as they are negative in every form. Sight rail or equipment rail, is the groove in front of the triggerguard, they are useful on full size autos, but a bit unnecessary on a sub-compact. I'd like to see how it performs from Ken Nulls UNS. Should be a good combo.
The P99c and ASP are both excellent pistols for the purpose, the ASP is overall slimmer and easier to conceal. The P99c is still a very fat handgun, but with the 10 rd mag, there has to be some compromise. I still think the ASP looks better, and the ASP 2000 better than that... shame it was designed by a stiff assed Brit that has never seen a handgun in his life 8-)

Oh and by the way where I live we can still own handguns at present I dont have any but I still have two rifles ,on mainland UK private hand guns are banned but most rifles and shotguns are not.As a police officer in Northern Ireland I carried handguns as stated before ,I also carried at various times the M1 Carbine,Sterling sub-machine gun,SLR,Ruger AC556,Hk MP5,HK 33 and G3 and FRG and HK baton guns both of which I have used in riots.Though I have been shot at many times thankfuly I never had to use a weapon in anger as we had the discipline not to fire unless we had a confirmed target.I hope you do dissappear preferably up you own ar****le as that where you belong.
