User Names Case Sensitive

Does anyone have any objections to usernames becoming case sensitive in the future?

I.e. to login I would have to enter SiCo as opposed to sico or SIco or any other variation?

I don't have a problem with that except would that allow creation of accounts with duplicate names but just different cases? If so that could be confusing and some names are confusing enough in their similarities.

No it would not allow accounts with similiar names, it would simply be for login reasons. Although having posted this I may of fixed my own problem so it might not be an issue.

Passwords however will be made case sensitive.

Funny, I always typed my username case-sensitive anyway! So I would not care.

I personally would prefer that you not make usernames case sensitive. Although I am permanently logged in at home, I often log onto this site at Uni (like now ;)) and I rarely stick to one particular case. It's not a big deal for me, but if it's not necessary, then I would prefer that you keep things the way they are.
