Google Ads Acting Strange?

A few minutes ago, the Google Ads didn't seem to be working. Not showing any ads, they simply said "Make Money With Google." Since they are apparently working now, I'll post a screenshot so you can know what I'm talking about. It was taken in Mozilla Firefox. I try to keep Firefox's AdBlock disabled on ajb, but just to make sure, I tried it in Internet Explorer (doesn't block ads other than pop-ups) and got the same results.

Google was probably just updating or something. Just for curiosity's sake, are there any other ideas why this would happen?[/img]

Hmm odd, it looks like a public service announcement ad but I turned all those off

I will look into my codes and alter them, thanks for the heads up.

Just thought I'd let you know that they're acting strange again... You said you wanted the ads to (mostly) only be Bond-related? Google doesn't seem to like this idea.

This is from the off-topic forum browsing page, and as of the time of this post, this is all it really shows there... For a short while, this was also being shown on the little "Ads by Goooooogle" box on the side. Another public service announcement, perhaps?

As of the time of this edit, it's no longer doing it... Anyway, just thought you'd want to know that it was doing this.

Hmmm I think it's getting mixed up with the content, or someone has mentioned car insurance!

As for the ad being really big that's Google's doing. I am not a fan but there is no way to stop it. Basically the popular an ad the bigger it gets. I have no idea if it actually works.

I really don't like it and think it messes the page up but at the moment there is nothing that can be done. If only they'd make it an option.

I got a good chuckle today when one of the Google ads was for our beloved "Craig is not Bond" website...home of the 'official' Casino Royale Boycott.

The Ad Sense program was working well I guess!
