For EON and FRWL, which console is better, PS2 or GC?

I am thinking about buying Everything or Nothing and From Russia With Love. I have both a PS2 and GameCube. Which console should I buy these games on and why? Or is there no difference at all?

    I don't believe there's a difference, except FRWL isn't that great of a game.

    i was wondering....

doesn't have the PS2 two buttons more than the Gamecube? ab¡nd at least in xbox's EON used all buttons, so, how the Gamecube can replace those buttons?

probably the online optios aren't aviable in both versions, besides, i migth be easier to play multiplayer in the Gamecube version.. besides that, i don't see any difference

Hmm... I was leaning towards getting these games for GameCube since I don't have as many games for GameCube as I do PS2. However, I don't have the modem for GameCube and I do have it for PS2.

Do both Everything Or Nothing and From Russia With Love have online capabilities? Or by "multiplayer," did you mean since the GC has 4 controller ports, it would be easier to play with 4 players?

Also, while I prefer the PS2's controller (I think it may be the best video game controller ever made, next to the original Super NES controller), I think that the GameCube is technically superior to the PS2 in terms of raw CPU power and graphics capabilities.

OTOH, the PS2 media can hold more information (I believe), so if there is a lot of video in these games, then they may have been cut out of the GameCube versions of these games. Does anyone happen to know?

I believe the PS2 is actually the more powerful console, but the GameCube is much easier to program; so in the end it is a wash.

There was no live action video in either game; only rendered cinemas, so disk space is not an issue. The games should look pretty much identical across either platform.

I'd go for whichever console has the more comfortable controller given your personal tastes. If you like the PS2 controller more, then go for that version.

As to which game is better, EON is the vastly superior title IMHO; it has a good mix of 3rd person action and driving levels with a varied set of objectives. Some missions call for stealth, others call for serious gunplay, and the driving levels offer diverse vehicles and challenges.

FRWL on the other hand was very disappointing with sluggish control and very poor driving sequences. The game has a rushed and incomplete feeling to it and visually it looks inferior to EON.

    Hope that helps.
