That sounds great. Thanks for the info, Ben, I'm really psyched.

I can't tell you where, Night, cuz I don't want to get anyone in trouble. Obviously there's a lot of us though. The important thing is it's the best script, literally, in decades. The film has smash written all over it, IMO. And best of all, an ending that really will have audiences applauding and walking out of the theatre with that 'extra step'.

One of my big complaints about the Brosnan Bonds is they all had really anti-climactic endings where it felt like the whole thing just petered out. Not here! Nothing is more important to a movie than a strong ending. You want to send people out energized and excited.

The reviews and the word-of-mouth on this movie, regardless of how Bondian Craig is or isn't, are going to make this a big hit. Uhm, IMO.

I believe that, too, Ben. I do like Craig as Bond, but the script is king with a capital K in my book. Put Craig or even Sean Connery in DAD or Moonraker and they'd still stink. If CR's story is half as good as I think it is (I haven't read the script but I've heard things and I believe Craig when he says he came around because of the script, as cliched as that sounds), I would be perfectly happy with Brosnan or Moore, both of whom I had problems with as Bond. When I really stop to think about it, I don't care who plays the role: if the script sucks -- and in my view the script been the chief Bond problem for years with its slavish devotion to formula -- the movie is going to suck. Let's face it: Bond is an interesting character, but not interesting enough to carry a movie in the sense that you could have a great Bond performance in a crappy story (that's not dissing Bond -- it's true of most movies). But with a good story, Adam Sandler could play Bond and I could deal with it. If the story is great and Craig fulfills the promise I think he shows, this film is going to be one hell of a ride -- easily the best since the classic Connery days of DR, FRWL and GF.

But since then I began gradually warming to the idea, and after watching him in Munich, and seeing the various photos/clips/trailers circulating the web, I ended up doing a complete 360%. Now I am completely sold on the idea of him as Bond.

I think you meant a 180 ...;) And I'm with you. I think he'll be terrific. For me anyway, he seems to have "it" as Bond, whatever "it" is. But I still have to see the film to be 100 percent sure.

there are many actors that would have been good for this part. i think clive owen would have been great. I also agree that craig will mix things up a bit, and i get more and more excited for the new film as every new trailer and picture comes out. i think craig will be great, but only time will tell.
